I voted for Hillary Clinton — and even I don’t want her to be president at this point
NY Daily News ^ | 11/23/2016 | Gersh Kuntzman

Hillary Clinton can still become the 45th president! Wouldn’t that be awesome?

Uh, no, actually it would not be awesome at all.

There are currently three ways Clinton can emerge victorious — and all of them end in civil war. But it could happen, so grab your pocket Constitution, your musket and Tim Russert’s whiteboard and let’s review:

You gotta have faith(less)

[snip]

So far, two Trump electors — one from Washington and one from Colorado — have said they can’t in good conscience vote for Trump.

[snip]

Trump was right, the election was rigged!

[snip]

Winner take all

What if Hillary Clinton voters took up arms against all of Trump’s voters? Sure, it’s civil war again, but this one we can win — after all, there are millions more of us than there are of them.

“Yep. Does he think that liberals are going to win a civil war by burning down the inner cities and throwing rocks?”

Yeah, that’ll have us on our knees begging them to stop.

Not.

Take a closer look at that map. In a lot of those places, cannibalism IS an option.

ALL of the red counties, mainly cities, are run by democratic machine politics. They need a constant supply of food and energy to survive. Haven’t any of them thought what would happen if those supplies were cut off for three days? Or three weeks? Although they would come in handy, Blue America wouldn’t need any guns.

The two who are leading the search for “Faithless” electors are from WA and CO but it was reported they found six (6) from Trump states, bringing his EV count to 300 or 301. I don’t know that the report was true.

It’s hard to imagine that people chosen by their state’s party committee would switch. Those are usually pretty active party insiders. It’s an honor to be selected as one of your party’s elector for the state, even if you know that you’ll never cast that vote, i.e., R electors from CA.

So far, two Trump electors — one from Washington and one from Colorado — have said they can’t in good conscience vote for Trump.

Their votes will be cancelled out by electors from Utah and Alabama who won't vote for Hillary.

No, there are NOT more Hillary voters. When you include the votes for Johnson and Stein in Trump’s total, the total number of people voting against Hillary is still the majority, and she did not win the popular vote.

..which side has the guns?

After trolling RATS underground for years now, I've come to the conclusion that maybe 25% of the moonbats own firearms. Makes me wonder who I'm standing next to at the gun show.

So funny. Numbers in civil war don’t mean much when its unarmed snowflakes in LA against well, armed highly trained patriots from Texas, Oklahoma, ect.

Great point. They might make the cell phones and other nifty gadgets, but from what I understand you can’t digest liquid crystal and rare earth minerals.

I've read that article by you before. Very plausible scenario. The last part is interesting.
I would be so bold as to add that such a scenario (in light of differing world views), that beyond the racial/ethnic aspect, people will begin to develop techniques for separating friend-from-foe beyond easily identifiable racial/ethnic characteristics.
I would give an example of two people - both the same racial makeup, heck, they go to the same soccer games, their kids went to the same school, may live in the same neighborhood, and at the average potluck would be indistinguishable from each other. The difference is in terms of outlook:
Person 1 thinks nothing of Hillary's corruption, may even secretly be in envy of her being able to get away with it, and while not vocalized, looks down on person 2 because person 2 "clings bitterly to their guns and religion". Person 1 has no compunctions about lying about what they really think as long as an agenda is served.
Person 2, on the other hand, thinks the occasional comment by person 1 is goofy, unusual, and impractical. Person 2 has more of a live-and-let live attitude, tries to live their life honestly and "by the rules", and tends to keep their attitudes to his/her self in the interests of comity.

If societal pressures were to fracture as in your article, in time Person 1 would "take advantage" as it were. Person 2 would be at a "disadvantage" for a time until a point at which comity is no longer an option. Both persons 1 and 2 would soon start to identify "cues" where they can identify with "like" types. This would be some time after the racial/ethnic tensions you describe, and probably transcend them as "like" world views coelesce. That's when the riots of the cities look like mere tantrums as two different worldviews decide the existence of the other is a threat.

You should add two more maps. Where the water comes from that the city beehive socialist drink and flush with, and where the power is produced that they consume in every minute of their lives.

The only thing the reds have to do to win any potential war is to stop traffic into the cities, knock down a few electric line towers and shut off the water supply.

Stop everyone who even thinks about leaving the cities and let them sit for a few days.

In five days or less they, the pathetic left, will be waving white flags. They really can not win a conflict of this nature..

If they think that the Armed forces will shoot at their own people they better think again. The vast majority of the military members are from the red areas and bring their political beliefs with them.

Our military will not shoot at their own families and people they agree with. That is a liberal fantasy.

>>How much food grows in the blue counties? Zip codes?

they didn’t grow much food in the cities of Russia back when the communists took over either. The Progs think they can gain control of the farmlands the same way the Soviets did.

But, the Russian peasants didn’t own 300M guns and a trillion rounds of ammo.

They think they have a solution for the food so that’s not a viable talking point with them. They’re idiots, but we already knew that.

Highly believable scenario.

I would add, though, a lack of energy/food deliveries to urban areas would change the equation. The cities would devolve into chaos within hours. When the food runs out the ferals who are mobile would raid the nearby suburbs that were still being supplied. Your tactical scenario would then play out but I don't think the local suburban and exurban authorities would be on the side of the ferals.

"Your tactical scenario would then play out but I don't think the local suburban and exurban authorities would be on the side of the ferals."

Some of those authorities would be, I suspect. At least up until the point the residents realize said "authorities" aren't watching out for the best interests of their constituencies.
