A little easier.
Lets wait until some things get passed that are genuine significant changes before we breathe easier. You know some anti-2a freedom leos are not going to go along with them if it makes citizens lives easier.

The one thing that should concern all gun owners is if it turns out that a lot of the Federal Laws are overturned or nullified, there will be an “opening” in some states to take that to mean that they can preempt the Second Amendment without any interference. I abhor Federal Laws in general, but there needs to be an unquivocal addressing by the SCOTUS that the 2A means exactly what it says, and that all states must conform to a National RIGHT to carry a firearm without interference from the states.

As long as the media and the rest of the treasonist rats act like they are true enemies to our country and way of life, I will continue to buy guns and hold large stashes of ammo.

I always was breathing.

I think it’s the other side that needs to worry about breathing.

I live in California.

This will be the best holiday season, Thanksgiving in a long, long time with the Trump victory. MAGA!

But... I live in California. I am a 60 year old gun owner - have had guns from a long time, many lurchased DECADES AGO, and more coming soon... Lever action and revolvers are my style... but I cannot breath a sigh of relief. Because I live in California. My number one concerns are (1) never letting the alt-left know what I have, I don’t give a flying fox what they think they need to know, and (2) resupply my ammo.

I have a lot of ammo - but I want more. Because I live in California. And need the ammo. Why? EARTHQUAKES AND THUGS.

Comments at NYT are good to read. Note that some of the people commenting use the meme: “As a gun owner myself...I support reasonable restrictions...”.

Very effective tactic, and one that I’m now starting to employ. We have NO CLUE if the person doing the writing has ever touched a gun, but I’ve found 80% of people take a statement like that at face value and give it instant credibility. In one case I made two postings, one on each side of the issue, about 10 minutes apart - no one even noticed.

So perhaps FReepers will join me in using the tactic (i.e., calling ourselves doctors, attorneys, liberals, whatever) in these debates - it does work (although not on this site, since we’re honest with each other here).

Trump should request congress to institute a $200.00 tax credit for all concealed carrying Americans to offset the 600,000 to 2.6 million crimes prevented every year by lawful carrying of firearms.
The 12 states that have constitutional carry should give carrying citizens free tax numbers to submit to the IRS to claim their credits.

Just an idea that’s been rattling around in my head lately.

Well were dying in California and need Supreme Court help or executive orders to undue the unconstitutional tyranny we are under. You now need a card and approval from the Department of Justice to purchase ammunition as well as any type of firearm, and only after you have had a safety class all of which you must pay the State several hundred dollars in fees. So you cannot exercise your 2nd amendment rights without first paying the government. Plus you cannot order ammunition online or from out of state. Oh, and than you cannot open carry a firearm and most counties will not issue a concealed carry permit, so even after you pay the government all their fees you can’t take your firearm anywhere and it must remain locked at home in a safe, which by law you also have to purchase. Your AR15 pattern rifle must have a bullet button which means the normal magazine release requires a special pointed tool to release the modified button itself. And those 20 and 30 round standard magazines for all your semi-auto rifles you own and purchased over the last 50 years are now all illegal, so destroy them or turn them in. And than go and register all of your AR-15 rifles with bullet buttons with the Department of Justice and pay another fee and once you do that when you die the rifle must be handed over to the State. How is that for infringement upon infringement.

The fight needs to carry on - the repeal of the GCA of 1968, the NFA of 1934, the abolition of the ATF, and criminalization of attempts to enact gun control .

“fearing a crackdown on certain weapons, bullets and magazines.”

Patriots don’t worry about getting whatever they need.

I’m still waiting for ammo prices to drop.
.22 is still hard to come by.
Hopeful that it returns to be plentiful and cheap again.
