New York magazine is reporting that a group of lawyers and computer scientists is urging Hillary Clinton to challenge the election results in 3 swing states: Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The group, which includes voting-rights attorney John Bonifaz and J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, believes they’ve found persuasive evidence that results in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may have been manipulated or hacked…
Last Thursday, the activists held a conference call with Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and campaign general counsel Marc Elias to make their case, according to a source briefed on the call. The academics presented findings showing that in Wisconsin, Clinton received 7 percent fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic-voting machines compared with counties that used optical scanners and paper ballots.
According to the story, the academics don’t have any evidence of hacking by any foreign government at this point, just this statistical oddity involving electronic-voting machines. Of course there could be other things that account for the difference in voting patters but since we’re not privy to any of the methodology used to generate these results it’s impossible to judge the quality of the work.
Prior to the election the FBI revealed that foreign hackers had made their way into election systems in at least two states. A Yahoo News story from August reported, “six states and parts of four others (including large swaths of Pennsylvania, a crucial swing state in this year’s race) are more vulnerable because they rely on paperless touchscreen voting, known as DREs or Direct-Recording Electronic voting machines, for which there are no paper ballot backups.”
According to Ballotpedia, Wisconsin uses a mix of paper ballots and Direct-Recording Electronic machines with a paper back-up. That means the electronic results could be tested against the paper back-up. Michigan uses paper ballots so it’s not clear there is a DRE issue in that state. Clinton would need to win all three states in order to overturn the election, though the New York piece points out that this is somewhat complicated by Democratic efforts to round up faithless electors.
The attempt to overturn the results is running out of time. New York reports, “the deadline in Wisconsin to file for a recount is Friday; in Pennsylvania, it’s Monday; and Michigan is next Wednesday.”

Maybe a more complicated analysis would reveal something, but usually bad news when a finding can't survive a basic sanity check like this.

All those voter frauds for her to win; illegal immigrants voting; machines turning to her name when people were voting for Trump; and what about her computer “ADA” she even said Clinton was loosing...
They take away all the voter fraud and she won’t have as many as Jill Stein had...

That is my assumption. They have been advised by al franken how to find more votes.
I think it might be a bit clearer why Trump said he won’t pursue Hillary.
“If they try this crap, I think it increases the odds of Trump giving her legal grief.”
And I think she realizes that. She’s walking a fine line. “What to do? What to do?”
I’m glad Trump has the military and police in his court.
Not just a can of worms, there would also be a can of whup-azz to go with it, why are these people INTENTIONALLY poking a hornets’ nest?
I could see her doing it. Depends on how badly she wants it. She's been campaigning to be "First Woman President" most of her adult life. This was/is her last shot at it. It would not be good for the country, but then, it's ever been about the good of the country where Hillary is concerned.
It is possible the conflicting signals Trump is sending out about investigating Hillary is to keep her guessing.
She knows there is no way to overturn the election, and she also knows if she re-enters the fight a possible investigation becomes a sure thing.
The only option she has is to keep a low profile.
Besides that, the Americans people (at least those in the red states) would revolt if this election was overturn by their games.
Looks like the democrat party’s back room operations finally caught up on the manufacture of phony ballots.
Too funny. Hillary would literally have to flip all three states by proving vote fraud in each and every one to gain enough electoral votes. Not happening, but the meltdown and desperation on the left is getting funny to watch. It’s the election that keeps on giving.

This is ridiculous on so many levels.
There were numerous reports that the electronic voting machines in PA were switching votes Trump votes to Clinton, not the other way around.
Well, it was very strange election night, when the returns seemed to just kinda quit coming in - like maybe they were being held back - a tactic often discussed for Urban areas where the vote doesn’t get reported until after the rural areas, so that they know how many votes they need to manufacture.
Then Podesta came out and said go home, we are continuing to count the vote, and every vote counts. Shortly thereafter, Trump announced that Hillary had conceded.
I think something happened to make her accept the results - what it was, I don’t know, but I do know what some of the alternate news reports are saying: There was hacking, it was to manufacture votes for Hillary, but was stopped.
Trump actually won by a landslide. Hillary accepted defeat, as a trade off for not going to prison. However, her co-horts not so much.
So there you have it, they thought they could steal the election, but the landslide was too big, and the people releasing information to WikiLeaks let Clinton know the jig was up.
