Totally confused how he could backtrack on waterboarding after conversation with one general (supposedly). He said he knew more than some of the generals while running and had Flynn and plenty other generals who endorsed him. Why change after talking to one general?

Building trust with cigarettes and beer may work over the long term, but if you need information about an imminent attack it seems that torture works better. Of course my opinion is based on what I see on TV.
