And having dug a hole of their own making in earning the distrust of the American people, the media requests a backhoe.

More propaganda pablum for the uninformed constituencies of Obama, Hillary and encouragement for the Soros hirelings to keep protesting!
Must suck to be them.

Reminds me of Cruz, bragging about his ability to “poach” delegates.

So far, as near as I can tell, not one Donald Trump elector has defected.

The only "faithless elector" is a Hillary Clinton one from the state of Washington. All this breathless hype from the media, and that's the result.

What goes around comes around, libs. So if there is ever another Democrat elected in this country, just be aware that the same strategy can be used against you.

If they do not vote for the person they were supposed to, and if that causes the decision to fall to the House, the House Republicans [Republican Party] can nullify those votes. Thus, the 270 would likely be revised to exclude the same number of ‘rebellious votes’.

That happened to a FL delegate [IIRC] several elections ago. He would not cast his vote for the intended person, and his vote got nullified by the party.

Regardless, Donald J. Trump is the next president.

“At least six electors — members of the Electoral College whose votes actually elect the President — have vowed to cast ballots that don’t align with the popular vote results of their states, Politico reported Tuesday. “

Um, isnt that how it usually works?

And I was so hoping those Trump electors in California would stay with him! /s

Democrats can vote for whoever it won’t sway Jack.

You would need 37 committed republican electors to vote for Hillary and every democrat elector to vote Hillary as well to have a win change...

Not going to happen.

In the entire history of the US I think 30 electors total have gone rogue... Thinking you will get 37 in one election is dillusional.

I don’t understand why we have to involve humans at all in this. Each state has a number of electoral votes the candidate receives when he wins that state. Why do we need someone to actually cast an electoral vote? What protection does this offer?

Bret Chiafalo (D-Washington) supports Sanders.

Robert Satiacum (D-Washington) is another Sanders supporter.

1 Washington state Democratic elector won’t support Clinton, another won’t commit (Seattle Times, Nov 4).

Michael Baca (R) represents Colorado which went for Hillary so his vote won't be counted anyway.

“The Founding Fathers created the Electoral College as the last line of defense

Well... actually the last line of defense the Founding Fathers gave us is the Second Amendment. Thank you Founding Fathers. Thank you very much. With dolts like this elector becoming more and more common it looks like he may be seeing the actual "last line of defense" in action one day soon.

How long is the Times going to pretend that the Michigan site doesn’t show Trump won their electors on 11/10/2016?

Tell the libs you interact with that THIS election more than any other PROVES the singular value of the EC in preserving the Constitutional Republic.

That will p*$$ them off.

Next stop is repealing the 17th Amendment, and having the Senators elected by the State legislatures as intended by the FFs.

I can not fathom how the progressives got that Amendment passed. It gutted the Senate. It has almost, by itself, destroyed the country.

Proof is the host of maggots like Reid, Boxer, Schumer, etc., who infest the Senate, the "World's Greatest Deliberative Body." Loathsome creatures all.
