SAN ANTONIO — The family of slain San Antonio Police Department Detective Benjamin Marconi says President-Elect Donald Trump contacted them Monday to offer his condolences.
Annie Patterson Campos, who identifies herself as a "CSI (Crime Scene Investigator) at San Antonio Police Department" on her Facebook page, shared a post from Detective Benjamin Marconi's "son" Dane Gregory Marconi. Marconi's message states "Just got off the phone with the future president Trump, he sends his condolences to our family."
The Facebook post was later removed.
Detective Marconi was shot to death Sunday while sitting in his patrol car writing a traffic ticket outside Public Safety Headquarters Downtown.

I cannot possibly express how refreshing it is to have a leader again. Instead of the bizarro world we have been living in where every American institution and America itself was the constant target of assault, and every foreign enemy and domestic perpetrator was celebrated as some sort of ideal. Hallelujah!

The FBI still has the Foundation case, and you can believe Sessions will empanel a Grand Jury if they turn up anything.
