I don’t think it’ll happen. But if it did and history is a guide, the eastern and northern parts of the state would in turn secede from the Californication republic. All 55 electoral seats would be lost to the remaining loyalist states. Then there are the water issues and the intellectual property to think about. I can’t see the loyalist states cutting them a break.
Overpopulated, stoned, waterless, and without any way to make money is not a good way to start a country.
Um the argument that the 30 million Californians could not make a viable country is ludicrous. We have Lichtenstein but CA can’t ? I mean there are so many examples.
