He should be their next house speaker but everyone knows it will be Nancy Pelosi and he will be severely punished for not falling in line with her highness. Seems as if you are confusing "House speaker" with HOUSE MINORITY LEADER. Quite frankly, the way things are going down now, I wouldn't want to see either of those two nor any other 'Rat as House speaker in our lifetimes, because that would mean that the 'Rats would have the majority in the House.

But this whole idea of majority/minority leaders is dependent upon the idea of an oligarchy of respected parties. Of which presidential politics encourages there to be exactly two.
If the Green Party managed to get members in Congress one day, shouldn’t we then have multiple minority leaders?
