Those concerns are particularly acute for national security experts, dozens of whom signed letters warning that Trump would "put at risk our country's national security and well-being."

Peter Feaver, a Bush era White House aide who signed both letters, did not expect that Trump would hire anyone involved with the effort, saying they were "effectively on a blacklist." But he said that the new administration could still pick from a sizable group of former Republican foreign policy officials who were not signatories.

A "black list"... they signed. LOL!

Both Democrat and Republican foreign policies have been bad. Why keep going back to the same people that evidently do not know what they are doing.

Our foreign policy should be simple:

Does it help or hurt the citizens of United States?

Don’t do things that will only benefit others at the expense of the US (and that includes “foreign aid”. It is insane to put American tax payers in debt to give money to other countries.

This makes the Bushees sound as stupid as the “hold muh beer” guys. Who in the world with a lick of sense would have signed those nasty NeverTrump screeds? Wish we could have seen them on election night, watching the red tidal wave spread through the great center of the USA. They could see their futures disappearing under that wave.

That must be why the DEFCON level immediately went from 3 "get ready to be vaporized" back to 5 "you will live to see another day" when it became clear Hillary had lost. Any of the “national security experts” who couldn't see this one coming should be run out of town on a rail because they are liberal idiots.

They should have hedged their bets and signed with blue ink instead of black ink. They just thought Hillary couldn’t lose.
