Shortened title.

Full title: Claim: Twitter Denied Advertising Services to Trump Campaign

Twitter’s CEO allegedly restricted Donald Trump’s use of paid advertising on the social media platform, even though the company stock has plummeted by 77 percent since the beginning of 2013.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey personally overrode an “upfront deal” for the Trump campaign to pay at least $5 million to generate engagement through customized hashtag branding, according to an essay by Gary Coby, Director of Digital Advertising and Fundraising for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

It seems that every media group and institution in the country was working for Hillary Clinton. Here is just one more example.

It is amazing that Trump was able to win.

If true, Twitter possibly violated federal election law regarding reasonable access for federal candidates.

In a lawless country, they expected to not be prosecuted by a Hillary Clinton administration.

A business can accept or reject business from anybody it wants.

As long as that business is not a cake or a photograph.

I believe that applies only to FCC regulated entities (TV, Radio). Under the First Amendment, you cannot order a newspaper or magazine to take an ad from a candidate. I also believe that TV/radio/etc. can refuse ALL political advertising, but if they take one, they must take all,a nd at the lowest available rates. This does NOT applies to PACs.

I believe this has been extended to paid media on the internet.

Control of all your information is how the Leftists have worked for 100 years....this is just the same ole-same ole Leftist trick to ban the Truth.

There is no ability for Free Will (choice) when media lies and distorts 24/7 to control the emotions of the masses to program deceit and misinformation to force people to smoke or whatever. (They used psychology to normalize vice (herd mentality/glorifying evil to little children).

It goes back to Marketing of Ideas (Eddy Bernays, Freud’s nephew), who was the first to apply psyops on the Minds of the Masses and to corrupt the desires of children.

If we don’t get the Truth-—we will not be able to “choose” the correct people for office. Truth matters always-—and we are NOT getting the Truth from mainstream media since God (Christianity) was banned from the public square and public schools in the 60s by Marxist “judges” who should have been put in prison for treason.

Faith can NEVER be separated from any idea....it is impossible and to ban only Christianity let Satanism (lies) be forced onto our schools and “News” 24/7. Only Christianity is based on Reason and Logic (Natural Laws/God’s Laws). All other belief systems other than Deism is based on irrational nonsense like everything appeared from nothing or the Big Turtle or other irrational thing which makes mathematics and Design/”THINKING” impossible.

Either we have a Justice System (which ONLY promotes TRUTH and “public virtue” or we have a Vice System......and now it is a total Satanic Vice System where truth is banned from the public square and all major information controllers.

Watching TV “news” is a waste of time-—a dog and pony show to elevate emotions so you are incapable of Common Sense (thinking for self). I never watch MSM or read “newspapers”-——except the stuff that is worth watching (2% of their distractions is worth any of my time). I will read exerts or watch parts of interviews if they are recommended by sources on the computer that I trust. I know the Truth because of the Bible (discerning true Good and Evil is “Wisdom” and understanding Human Nature). I have Common Sense because I had a Classical Education-—all the greatest ideas and philosophy in Western Civilization which created the Age of Reason and Modern Science. Without Classical Education and Real Life human interactions (unstructured/uncontrolled/not artificial so one learns to use their minds (not be programmed)) there is no possibility of understanding Reality and Truth and instilling virtue in children, the ability to discern good and evil and promote the good.

That is why all the screens/artificial systems of interaction is being “normalized”-—to isolate and destroy human beings, all REAL human connections and destroy the Natural Family——for transhumanism of Julian Huxley (total slavery of human beings to corporate masters).

It is easier to relate to a screen than to deal with real human beings who all are unique and have unique experiences (hopefully in REALITY) and emotions. Psychopaths are people who have no human connection to their parents or others——they were never humanized by loving mother and father interactions and with healthy, unstructured negotiation experiences with their siblings/others so they learn to control their base emotions which takes PRACTICE and HABITUATION for maturity (morality).

How could it? Especially with foreign sourced sites (e.g. Daily Mail)

I think Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey better have lawyers on retainer and speed dial. He'll be asked by Congress and/or the DoJ under Trump whether this censorship had the approval of the Obama Administration and/or Democratic National Committee.

The FEC’s federal campaign regulations extend to paid internet advertising. Political advertising on the internet must be accompanied by a disclaimer similar to disclaimers required in print advertisements.

The regulations affect commercial website advertising sold by broadcasters, regardless whether it is sold in conjunction with the sale of broadcast time. The regulations apply to all forms of website advertising, such as banner advertisements, streaming video, pop-up advertisements, and directed search results.

But accepting/contracting for a service and then cancelling/dishonoring that contract might cost them far more than they ever thought.

This is key. If Twitter failed to honor a contract for political reasons, Trump2020 re-election campaign may have just been financed.

Denying a Presidential candidate the right to place competing ads might not be legal. I’d like to know where the law stands on this...
