Vice President-elect Mike Pence took in the hit Broadway hip-hop musical “Hamilton” last night in New York City.
As you could imagine, he was booed when he entered the theater in the deep blue state.
But it gets worse.
The performers actually took a stance against Pence, as well.
For real.

The vice president-elect was greeted with a mix of cheers and jeers as he entered, and exited, “Hamilton.” And in between, he received a lecture from Brandon Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr in the musical.
“Vice President-elect Pence, we welcome you and we truly thank you for joining us here at ‘Hamilton: An American Musical.’ We really do,” Dixon, who also asked the crowd not to boo Pence, said. “We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us. All of us. Thank you.”
Creator of the musical, Lin-Manuel Miranda, tweeted the following after the performance…

I would take it u; with the credit card company and tell them you have no proof that the cruise line will protect you from violence as a result of your beliefs.

Please remember that you can book your own excursions, minimize bar and spa bills, etc. I easily spend $500 once the cruise starts and although I’d give up a few things, I could whittle that down to almost no additional sales for the line.
The Atlanta paper boasted that the show is sold out through 2017 - so there! It is not hard to hate these people. Not hard at all.

We’re pretty low-budget cruisers. Never go to the specialty restaurants, might have wine once on a cruise, don’t buy the beverage packages, don’t use internet, and take very few excursions. So they won’t make much on us — guaranteed. :)

I just watched that video and you have to laugh at the arrogance of the Line’s president to say it wasn’t directed at Trump because his name wasn’t mentioned.
It’s sort of like me (Twinkie) going over to “FREEPER
MADNESS” and telling them that HITLER-Y CLINTON was NOT
going to be elected. (I also gave them some nice recipes
& helpful household hints; but they just basically told me
in a round about way to eat s#it and hide my fat Twinkie
face and leave them alone to drown in their own tears as
their goddess, HITLER-Y CLINTON is doing.)
I kept trying with them; but they would not get in a good
humor with Twinkie, nor would they quit ridiculing us
FREEPERS for not being “sophisticated”. The WONKERS!

I had wanted to see this Hip-hop rap musical about one of our founding fathers going from orphan to assistant to George Washington, to one of the strongest voices of freedom.
But I will never give them my money now.
I’m sure they won’t go out of business, but I hope ticket prices plunge.
As Michael Jordan ruefully observed several years ago, “Republicans buy shoes too.”
As usual, the Daily Mail spun this story as well. DJT ATTACKS those poor actors! They must be dizzy from so much story spin.
I hope someone on the Trump Team says something to the effect that we hope these youthful victims of brainwashing can be de-successfully programmed so they can enjoy a safe and happy life with their fellow Americans.
OTOH, if they said this, the reaction would probably be even more freakout. “EEK! They’re going to kidnap us and put us in deprogramming which is really programming! Help!”
