Think about the value of this to connect with the TMZ audience... the same people that watch Oprah and The View. The same people who likely vote Democrat. It’s brilliant that way. It’s also brilliant because he’s keeping the “political media” at bay and using the “entertainment media” to do it. So strategically it’s brilliant, too. He kicks the MSM to the curb while actually reaching a BIGGER and NEW audience. This sort of out-of-the-box kind of thinking is why he’s President elect now
The interview was to show he is a person that has a life, memories and feelings.
It was to show a bit of his home side.
Sorry you were disappointed.
Please give a detailed, specific explanation of your revulsion re this program.
Harvey Levin did a good job on follow-up questions and trying to probe more into Trumps past, personal information, and feelings. That was definitely different from other interviews that have been done with Trump.
I don’t owe anything to you. Go away.
Good for you and your friend; however, I don’t understand WHY you claim that trump is a “REDNECK”. I believe that you are misusing that term.
Shocking but he is a journalist, a real journalist, great show so far
Call it poetic license if you like. He is a city boy but not a city slicker. He’s a rough hewn, flaming haired Scot. He has got many characteristics of the humble redneck.
Because the humble redneck is a picture of Christ.
Your post just proved, beyond a shadow of any doubt at all, that you can't back up your original post and are just a nasty little nobody, sans sense, sans, intellect, and worst of all, sans all political instincts at all. In fact, you are just a sick joke whom we are all laughing AT; not with.
First time since Reagan that I am proud we have a real President.
(Eat your heart out Glenn Beck, and roll your face vainly in the Cheetos!)
I thoroughly enjoyed the interview. Trump spoke about his family and philosophy on life in a thoughtful, casual manner.
It was not meant to be Meet the Press. It was a personal chat, different but interesting.
Thought it was interesting to learn that President Trump was a good athlete, specifically a good baseball player and a good golfer (has won several club trophies).
This Donald goes into a dimension that even Ronald Reagan, of blessed memory, couldn’t.
I say he’s special. He’s a redneck (poetically speaking).
It certainly paid off now... he gets around like a fellow 20-30 years his junior.
Steve Deace was a #nevertrumper who voted for Darrell Castle. He’s now saying on his Twitter he’s impressed with everything Trump’s doing and with his cabinet picks. And he ran a Twitter poll on his channel and 2/3rds of them say they’re more optimistic about Trump today than they were before. So I think some of the #nevertrump wall is cracking.
Yes, he's a CITY guy, but from Queens, who longed to make his mark in the BIG TIME of Manhattan!
In many ways, HELL YES...he IS a "city slicker" and then some!
It's his father's German side of WORK, WORK, WORK and taking no guff, that got him where he is.
If you paid attention, it's his mother's influence, that is his "showman" side, as well as his idea of grandiosity.
He isn't really "humble" and he shouldn't be. :-)
I agree with that...re Beck, whom I abjure and have done for far longer than most, but I don't know why you posted that to me.
We know that Trump is a normal guy...
We were for him before it was fashionable...
We knew Mr Trump would be our 45th President!
The damned #NEVERTRUMPERS need a thorough thumping!
