Trump is trolling all his enemies acting like he values their contribution but none of them will be selected. This makes him look more than fair. It makes him look lofty, embracing all those who betrayed him. In the end, he will just say they went with who they felt was more qualified when he does not pick any of these traitors, but they will always have the nagging doubt that he might have been sincere.

Trump is the best psychologist we have ever had in the whitevhouse. This guy could sell sand to the Saudis and ice to a polar bear.

In charge of sucking farts out of bus seats and shoveling $h!t against the tide.

No other person on earth is as qualified.

Trump needs to recite “The Snake” while looking at Romney’s picture.

Trump got them all coming and going. Trump may want to hear what the enemy has to say up close and personal. He takes it all in, and HotAir is all rank speculation.

It is just for show and to play mind games with the traitors who shunned him.

Publically he looks gracious and inclusive, a complete absence of vindictiveness. Privately he is building up their hopes and seeming to spread goodwill, but he has no intention of rewarding these traitors.

Loyalty is everything to Zpresident Trump. He will never reward the disloyal. He is just playing them like a cat toying with a mouse.

That said, President Trump ia all about performance and results. If one of his traitors was clearly the best at a given job, President Trump would use him if he knew he could keep him close in lieu of outright trust, because he cannot trust a traitor.

He is just doing this for show and to work his enemies. It is brilliant and so fun to watch.

Note to Trump....

Avoid wasting time and in particular, avoid Romney, a two time loser.

Horrible idea. Don’t let that con-man anywhere near the administration. Behavior like his should not be rewarded.

Its not Trump that have issue with Romney, but Romney having issue with Trump. Romney backstabbed him quite badly as well in the worst possible fashion. I never seen so much vitriol coming from Romney to someone who was kind to him

Romney might actually be a good choice for Secretary of State. In such a position, the policy differences with Trump are minimal, while Romney becomes yoked to Trump politically, further unifying the party and the country and draining a residual reservoir of NeverTrumpism. Most of all, under Trump’s guidance, Romney would likely prove to be an exceptionally potent trade negotiator.

Romney is a talented individual who may be useful if he gets his head right.

Moral Monster Mitt Romney is best suited to be Ambassador to Benghazi especially if the all Islamo assassination team can be re-assembled. He won't have to speak Arabic. His screams in his death agony would be an easily understood international language. Make the Arkansas Medusa his deputy whether she agrees or not.

Romney (and ALL of Clan Romney) are and have been rampaging baby killing enthusiasts since a cousin of his died of a botched abortion in her dorm room at Eastern Michigan (?) in 1962. His late mother openly campaigned for a Michigan US Senate seat as an open pro-abort BEFORE Roe vs. Wade in 1972.

His despicable father, as HUD Secretary under Nixon, proposed using federal mortgage programs to force integration of the suburbs by denying mortgages to whites seeking to flee the riot-torn cities and providing complete unfettered support to blacks seeking mortgages in what ad been white suburbs. Nixon fired him immediately.

Moral Monster Mitt Romney organized a PROFIT-making business to dispose of the little corpses of abortion mill victims before pro-lifers could photograph them in dumpsters to humiliate the killers.

As Governor of Massachusetts, he enthusiastically threatened all town clerks with ruinous lawsuits unless they obeyed HIS IMPERIAL COMMAND that they issue licenses for "gay""marriages." The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court specifically ruled that no judicial orders would issue and that the legislature was the proper venue for implementing sexual perversion posing as "marriage."

In his Senate race against Ted the Swimmer, Willard explained that he not only refused to vote for Ronaldus Maximus but also left the GOP at that time to avoid dirtying his pristine elitist white gloved hands by belonging to the Republican Party of Reagan.

Seward is the man who, in 1860, should have been nominated and elected POTUS. 658,000 young Americans would then not have died killing each other in the most unnecessary and despicable invasion in US history. Seward was a wise man. See his very early memo to Lincoln in the official papers of Seward as SOS.

Also a wise man was Chase, who, later as Chief Justice of SCOTUS, wrote a series of confessional decisions admitting the massacring of the constitution by Lincoln's regime and warning against anyone repeating those violations.
