At Hillary Clinton's first public appearance tonight since making a concession speech one week ago today in New York City, she was candid about her post-election state of mind and encouraged Americans to remain defiant following her defeat.
Speaking at the Children's Defense Fund's 26th annual Beat the Odds Celebration in Washington, D.C., Clinton said, "I know this isn't easy. I know that over the past week a lot of people have asked themselves whether America was the country we thought it was. The divisions laid bare by this election run deep. But please listen to me when I say this: America is worth it. Our children are worth it. Believe in our country, fight for our values and never ever give up."
Clinton, who was honored at the gala for her dedication and contributions to the organization and child advocacy throughout her career, admitted, "coming here tonight wasnt the easiest for me. There have been a few times this past week that all I wanted to curl up with a good book, or our dogs, and never leave the house again. But if there is anyone who knows who pick yourself up and get back on your feet and get back to work it is [CDF founder and president] Marian [Wright Edelman.]"
When Clinton spoke about the struggles her late mother, Dorothy Howell Rodham, endured as a child, she became noticeably emotional. "I dream of going up to her," Clinton said, "and sitting next to her and taking her in my arms and saying 'Look, look at me and listen: You will survive. You will have a family of your own. Three children.

Her aged, haggard appearance is itself another bit of Clinton spin.
She now must re-invent herself as a kindly and frail grandmother, a far more sympathetic figure than the ball-busting bitch of a few weeks ago as she works to keep from being indicted for various felonies.
We may even see at least a grudging admission of her health problems as a pretext for keeping her out of jail.
I was in high school when the Clintons first hit the scene. I had what I called a “bad read” from her back then (like Star Wars “I have a bad feeling about this...”) I was talking to my 17 yr old son last week after the election and he said he had a similar reaction to her, as well. Her losing was probably one of the best early birthday presents I could have EVER received LOL I turn 40 on Thanksgiving and that’s for sure one thing I’m VERY thankful for....
It’s not grief, iit’s consuming rage. She will do as much damage as she can to punish those who ruined her coronation.
See # 83.
Churchillian plagiarism is a better choice than her past lines of crap.
That is a truly frightening image.
We really dodged a bullet :O
She’s morphing into George Soros.
the WITCH is lookin’ for sympathy, helps motivate the minions in the protest lines...
She is of absolute evil. I hate that horrible woman... and her little husband too.
Hey <~~~Reptilliary,
Shut up!
Give up!
Croak.
I say she needs to be the Democrat nominee 8n 2020, and 2024 and when the year comes when she is no longer with us, it needs to be chelsea. The Democrats owe it to her, it’s her turn, and she should never give up....and any Democrat that wants a canidate with a chance of winning instead is mean sexist and racist and essentially guilty of sexual assaulting her.
1. Can't help her egomaniacal urges.
2. Hoping, like Cruz and Kasich did, that the system will break itself and declare her the ugliest queen ever - but still the queen...
3. She knows that barring a true satanic miracle, she's washed up forever and there are no places she won't go to try to change that.
Her eyes aren’t blue in this picture.
Can you imagine how bad she must have looked before they got her ready for this speech? After the crying and drinking she must have looked like she was half dead, as this doesn’t look good at all.
Lol
