Optics say a lot. We know that Donald Jr and Eric say Ivanka is the favorite of all the children. And look who was sitting in the front row of that 60 minutes interview. They could have all sat in the back.

Sometimes I feel sorry for Tiffany. Blended families can be difficult. I cringed when Trump said...”too a lesser extent..Tiffany.” when asked something about his children and being proud as it relates to the campaign. I think the reason he said it that way is because she wasn’t involved as much as the rest..but any parent knows that children can feel slighted over the littlest thing.

I admire Ivanka. I look forward to seeing what she does next.

I tend to agree. DJT is a very loyal friend, these two have been friends for years... I imagine CC has backed off so as not to muddy the waters for DJT and allow the onboarding of staff to go on without any added drama...btw.. for those of us who travel the GWB on a regular basis....how could anyone tell there was an intentional traffic jam, anyway?

I think it was clear during Trump's victory speech. He went down the line and gave man-hugs to everyone until he reached Christie. Then it was a quick businesslike handshake and back to hugs for the next person. Christie turned as if to try to get a hug too after Trump passed him and stood there looking silly when Trump ignored him. In the moment you could say it was just an unintended thing that looked worse than it was. But now....

That hugfest was a big mistake. Christie talks a good talk but I never trusted him because of his inability to control his weight. If you can't control your weight, you can't control important things.

I see it as a bit of a snub. Christie certainly did, notice how after the handshake he begins hovering around Trump, how when Trump gives a hug to the next guy Christie pats him on the back and then starts blocking his way and trying to get a second shot at it. Notice how Trump is conspicuously ignoring him even as he tries to step past Christie to get to his other supporters, an effort he ended up giving up on because of Christie's blocking.

It stood out to me on that night for a couple of reasons. First, Christie is governor of my state so I notice him. Second, it reminded me of that time he was in the luxury box of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and he tried to high five Jones and was denied. See it here. This was similarly awkward and I thought "well, that seals it. Christie is really the nerd hanging with the cool kids and desperate to be accepted but not quite cutting it."
