i once thought that Cruz would be good in that position. However, after having thought of the matter, Solicitor General would be a better position for him.
At this time in his life he’d be too aggressive for the AG position. He needs to learn how to deal better with people.

It’s possible, since Trump appears to be attempting to unify each wing of the party under him. Cruz is an awful human being, but the one positive thing is that he’ll take his desperate need for attention and his sociopathy and combine them together in relentless persecution of Democrats.
I absolutely HATE the possibility that we will lose BOTH Ted Cruz and Jeff Sessions from the Senate’s Republican caucus since their presence keeps at least some brake on the Senate RINOs’ tendency to be ‘RAT-lites. We NEED that influence in the Senate.
