I agree. Earmarks are just buy offs for particular votes and pet projects. They serve no nationwide purpose, IMO, unless it can be clearly and fully documented to serve the best interests of this country by agents of the DoD or services who have full, documented unfunded critical needs that aren’t being met.

The GOPE is not anything if predictable. They won because of Trump and people held their noses and voted for these turds even though they have done nothing to warrant any support from the base.

They are the most out of touch bunch of buffoons I have ever witnessed aside from the American Drive-by media.

Are they that dense? I realize that most politicians are lawyers and that getting a law degree consists of reading and memorizing court cases nobody cares about. Bringing back earmarks now would be like lighting a match in a powder magazine.
