CNN Goes Bonkers Over Bannon
Legal Insurrection ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 11/14/2016 9:53:57 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

Remember when, at the beginning of his administration, President Obama made Valerie Jarrett his closest advisor, and how CNN went on the attack because of her far-left roots? Neither do I.

But now that President-elect Trump has named Steve Bannon as a senior advisor, CNN is in full inquisition mode. Chris Cuomo and Poppy Harlow, co-hosts on today’s New Day, cross-examined Trump spox and former Sen. Tom Coburn, respectively. References to the alt-right, anti-Semitism, etc. flew as the CNNers combatively questioned their guests.

Steve Bannons senior editor and arguably number two at Breitbart has the last name Pollak...first name Joel

Doesn’t sound like the sort of guy a national alliance sort would hire

Not to mention Irish DNA Andrew raised by Jews in Tinseltown

I mean this Breitbart operation is one deep sleep pogrom if ever there was one

Yup. The Left is doing what they always do — falsely accuse / outright lie / propagandize in an attempt to paint conservatives as Nazis. Transparent projection on their part.

The “Trump is a racist” meme really caught on. But try as I did, I couldn’t find even one example of it anywhere. And neither could any lib I challenged about it. But in this world, the mere accusation is enough to sway the pods — they believe what they want to believe, (lack of) evidence be damned.

The main writers of the alt-right, the ones Brietbart itself cites as the leading thinkers of the alt-right, say that while there is much diversity among them, they are united on the centrality of race.

THAT is the problem. If you don’t hold race as central to all issues (immigration, social policy, globalism, and the like), then by the definition of the movement BY ITS OWN LEADING THINKERS, you’re not alt-right. And Bannon proudly proclaims the site he has been running to be “a platform for the alt-right.”

And the alt-right writers themselves attack Western culture. Many are supporters of the Fourth Political Theory. Almost all are what they call “identitarians.”

Apparently, many here are comfortable with that.

To say that the “conservative movement” is somehow responsible for immigration policies and globalism is to smear movement conservatives, who have fought these things consistently.

The desire to “bring everything crashing down” is worrisome. This mirrors a long-time Alinskyite/Cloward-Piven strategy. They argue that if you can cause the societal structures to crash, you will be able to replace it with a socialist regime with absolute power. (Very Leninist.)

We all want to change the way Washington works. We all want to restore American tradition, the Constitution, and values. But alt-righters are not friends of the Constitution.

In short, these are the kinds of people JimRob had previously kept out of here, until they leeched onto Trump. I don’t know if Bannon is one of them himself (I can’t read his head and heart), but he gives them a platform. He empowers and enables them.

(WILLIAM KRISTOL: RENEGADE JEW —Breitbart headline)

Nothing gets on Breitbart that Mr. Bannon disapproves, just as nothing gets on here that JimRob disapproves. If it does, he (or John) deletes it. (Nothing gets on WND that Joe Farah disapproves, and so forth.)

Just as we criticize liberals for their uncritical willingness to stand with ANSWER, Black Lives Matter, Occupy, and so many other Communist groups, we too must be careful with whom we stand.

I will not stand with the Richard Spencers and Jared Taylors of the world. Here are some of Taylor’s utterances from this past September. (Jim, I am sorry to have to post this, but we ned to know who and what we’re talking about.)

“Race is a foundation of identity. You’re a part of something, whether you like it or not.”

“When you ask whites to celebrate diversity, you’re asking them to celebrate their dwindling numbers.”

“I do not want my country to become one in which my children and grandchildren are not only a racial minority, but at the rate things are going now, a hated and despised minority.”

“Why is Africa poor? Why is, on the other hand, Haiti equally poor? … This is because they’re populated by the same people.”

“East Asians have the highest IQ — about an average of 102, 103. Next come whites at about 100. Next come Hispanics, which are a very varied population — hard to put a firm figure on them. And then blacks have an average IQ of about 85.”

“There’s been an overrepresentation by Jews in intellectuals who have tried to undermine the legitimacy of white racial consciousness.”

“Jews have their own identity. They’re not European.”

If Bannon stands with these folks, then he’s not an ally of conservatives. I hope he doesn’t but fear he does.

Update by David Horowitz: My article “Bill Kristol: Republican Spoiler, Renegade Jew” has created something of a firestorm on social media (#Renegade Jew) and inspired some illiterate and unjust attacks on Breitbart.com and also me. Breitbart is not responsible for the headline or the phrase “Renegade Jew.” I am. Some illiterate anti-Semites have picked up on the phrase without understanding it. Some neo-conservatives have called me names as well, displaying their own brand of inarticulate hate without bothering to respond to the actual argument of my piece.

So to clarify: I understand that a lot of conservatives are still skeptical about Donald Trump as the Republican nominee. I respect their skepticism when it is attached to reasonable arguments, since no candidate is perfect and no one can know the future. I am put in mind of the wit who said that Republicans are always looking for the perfect candidate while Democrats are looking for the perfect lie. But the primaries are over and Donald Trump is now the nominee. That means he is the only obstacle to the party of Obama and Hillary and Huma Abedin, of the Iran deal and the appeasement of Islamic Jew-hatred beginning with the Hamas terrorists of Gaza and the Fatah terrorists of the West Bank.

In mounting a Third Party run which would split the Republican vote and elect Hillary, Bill Kristol seems to be forgetting that the Iranians and their Jew-hating allies are openly preparing a second Holocaust in the Middle East (and then for the rest of us). Obama, Hillary, Huma Abedin and the Democrats are the chief enablers of this already planned Holocaust. Splitting the Republican vote and electing Hillary is a betrayal of the Jews in an hour in which their backs are to the wall. Hence the designation renegade for those who are planning a Third Party run, and for which I make no apologies.

Misogynyist

At some point, I'm not sure when, the term "male chauvinist" fell out of favor with the man-hating fembots and they started using that fancier word. Probably because it seems more sinister.

No doubt -- the Left's overuse/misuse of all these terms has made them all but meaningless. Just the opposite of what they intended.

Still, the headline would not have run without the approval of the management — and there are others.

Some other Breitbart headlines:

THERE’S NO HIRING BIAS AGAINST WOMEN IN TECH, THEY JUST SUCK AT INTERVIEWS

BIRTH CONTROL MAKES WOMEN UNATTRACTIVE AND CRAZY

GAY RIGHTS HAVE MADE US DUMBER IT’S TIME TO GET BACK IN THE CLOSET

‘WOULD YOU RATHER YOUR CHILD HAD FEMINISM OR CANCER?’

‘Suck it up buttercups: Dangerous Faggot Tour returns to colleges in September’

Here are a couple of headlines from alt-right sites (at least one of which, and I believe both, are banned here):

Faggots and Jews Whining About Bannon Appointment

“The Truth Is Racist”

Jason Richwine, a writer at Spencer’s site AlternativeRight.com, wrote tdisparaging pieces questioning the IQs of Hispanics. ALL Hispanics. This caused Heritage Foundation to disavow him — but Breitbart has highlighted his work.

Ben Shapiro — who used to work at Breitbart — described the alt-right as a “national, populist movement that is shot through with white supremacism” and “anti-Semitism.”

Bannon has a clear tie to white nationalists — clear tie. He’s built Breitbart as a platform for the alt-right. He’s on record saying that. He’s on record defining the alt-right. He knows what it is. He’s a guy that wants to tear this system down and wants to replace it with a new system.

Before he died, Andrew Breitbart himself reportedly called Bannon “the Leni Riefenstahl of the tea party movement.” (Now that person runs Andrew’s website.)

Look into the terms “white genocide”, “cuckservatives”, and “Identitarianism”. Look into The Fourth Political Theory and neo-Eurasianism.

Then there are the statements of Bannon’s ex-wife.

Bannon’s ex-wife swore in court in 2007 that he ‘didn’t want the girls going to school with Jews...He said he doesn’t like Jews. (She also accused him of domestic abuse.)

I don’t know for a fact that these are anything more than allegations, but they do seem to fit the pattern.

Spencer, The Daily Stormer, Infostormer, and others have hailed the appointment, which ought at least to give one pause.

Again, we tend to judge people by the company they keep. If Bannon is not part of that movement, it might be helpful if he explicitly said so and denounced the likes of Spencer and the rest.

Now, I really don’t want to spend any more time looking in that swamp. These people are vile.

All of the headlines you posted are from stories by Milo Yiannopoulos. Milo is a satirist. There’s a lot of satire on Breitbart.com. Obviously, it went right over your head.

Instead of doing the work of CNN with all of this innuendo crap, just get to the point. You are calling Bannon a racist. Prove it once and for all. Show me all of the racist things HE has said and done. You can't because he isn't. He has worked side by side with minorities and they say there is not a racist bone in his body.

Should I list all of the questions once again that you can't answer? Dude, give it up.

No, I am not calling Bannon a racist. I’m saying he has given a platform to racists, which empowers them.

He should not have done that. It hurts him, hurts Breitbart, and hurts the conservative movement. It makes it easier for the left to tar us with that smear, citing those people as evidence.

He’s too tolerant of these types, and it isn’t a good thing. Again, you have to be careful with whom you stand.

Anti-Semitism? Where? Lying pricks.

But...but...merely the charge should suffice! If you can't believe The Clinton News Network and MSNBC, than who can you believe?? *cough*

If Bannon or Breitbart News even showed a smidgen of anti-Jewish / anti-Israel sentiment I'd have picked up on it long ago. I've read this blatantly false accusation in several MSM articles today, and it's seriously pissing me off.

Bannon HATES Matzo Ball soup!! That anti-Semite!

Trump MUST ignore this tantrum and ALL OTHERS. If the Liberal/Prog/Commie/Gangsta MSM despises Bannon THIS much, you know he's indispensable to Team Trump as well as the USA.
