2016 Election Results (Why am I not seeing 306??)
Fox News ^ | 11-14-16 | Fox News

Am I looking at old data here? I'd been hearing Trump 306 pretty regularly, but not seeing that around the web. Seems everybody that I look at have him at 290. Also, the popular vote. Today, I've started to see posts on Facebook claiming DJT also won with popular vote. Now, yeah, could be erroneous, but I just wanted to ask if 1.) there is anything to this popular vote win claim? 2.) Where is a reliable place to find the 2016 Presidential Election Final results?

“The official state authorities have not called Mich or NH yet.”

New Hampshire went for Hillary.

I saw that on the Saturday Night Live skit with Dave Chapple.

Well look how the media behaved on election night. Trump was at 254 on FNC, but in reality he was at 270, because he had Arizona, Alaska, and the ev from Maine. Yet they all pretended it was all hinging on Pennsylvania. LOL
It was over already and they were all acting as if “its too close to call in PA” when Trump didn’t need PA or MI.
They kept up the facade Hillary’s camp initially came out and said “too close to call in many states” etc. They were bias and a sham to the very end. Notice how the media finally called PA once they had confirmation Hillary called Trump to concede? Even though the race was over an hour before hand because DT was already at 270 w/o PA.
You expect them to report Michigan now? Or report IF the popular vote swings to Trump eventually?
Nah don’t count on it. We’ll have to get it out there on sites like this, or Hannity/Rush ect.

I keep seeing that nonsensical “fact” repeated on FR over and over again.

Good reason for me to have “As I understand it, ...... “

Indeed. i did notice that. others reporting it as “fact” weren’t as smart as you.

A better reply was:

“A state can be declared for a candidate without all ballots being counted if the number of absentee ballots remaining to be counted could not reverse the outcome. But eventually, they will all be counted.”

Actually, I heard it on a Christian Radio station by someone I thought would know. Maybe I didn’t understand exactly what she had said.

The Michigan Secretary of State actually HAS called that race for Trump.

Has she posted a "Certificate of Ascertainment" yet?

Yep. Rub their smarmy collective noses in it and repeat.

If the pop vote *does* put MAGAman the winner, they’ll attempt to continue a false narrative...

Most of the coverage sites are from the main stream media and they use them to tell the story THEY want told. You are expecting them to show the unvarnished data and truthful image of what is going on and that is unrealistic as long as the communists are in charge.

Nah. Not really. I was looking for the data to put me at more ease. Just wanted to find out what people were hearing and where from.

I was giving an answer somewhat rhetorically — I made no assumptions as to your real world awareness.

Not quite anybody. As for who cares, well apparently the person who started this thread was looking for currently accurate election data. And you clicked on the thread, so apparently you care too.

The thread and the facts, yes. But Wiki? No so much; I view them as untrustworthy.
