2016 Election Results (Why am I not seeing 306??)
Fox News ^ | 11-14-16 | Fox News

Am I looking at old data here? I'd been hearing Trump 306 pretty regularly, but not seeing that around the web. Seems everybody that I look at have him at 290. Also, the popular vote. Today, I've started to see posts on Facebook claiming DJT also won with popular vote. Now, yeah, could be erroneous, but I just wanted to ask if 1.) there is anything to this popular vote win claim? 2.) Where is a reliable place to find the 2016 Presidential Election Final results?

Some states have not yet certified their results and are deemed too close to call. The outstanding ballot count could swing the race.

My personal opinion is that uncounted military ballots will ensure those states go to DJT.

Thanks for this as I have similar concerns as to finding not much as far as electoral maps being updated or accurate.

The official state authorities have not called Mich or NH yet. Trump has the requisite 270 so the race is called, but the “official” number is not finished yet.

“The outstanding ballot count could swing the race.”

What does that mean?

Exactly! They are just trying to diminish Hillary’s butthurt. Prolonging the agony. Savor it.

They have not added in Michigan (16 EVs), which Trump currently has a 0.27% lead (13,100+ votes). An automatic recount happens if the lead is less than 2,000 votes. While not expected, no one will call the state until Michigan has counted all ballots.

According to Breitbart Trump over Clinton 306 to 232 electoral votes

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/11/11/113000-votes-pa-wi-mi-gave-trump-56-electoral-college-votes/

As others have said, not all states have certified their results.

Thanks for the swift responses. I figured it was along those lines. I was/am feeling a little unease... I’ll have to wait.

I’d so love to see DJT with both pop and the electoral.

I actually enjoy the prolongation of butthurt this is inflicting on Hillary.

“Wait Hillary...you might have made it close. Let’s see when these other states come in.”

Then when they do in another week of two:

“Hillary, Great News!...you won New Hampshire! Oh, but you still lost the election. But you were so close!!!”

Some media outlets have called Michigan for Trump (and New Hampshire for Hillary) but most haven’t. There are still some absentee ballots that need to be counted, but since in 2012 there were only around 3000 that arrived after the election, it is not likely that the few that trickle in will impact Trump’s margin, in fact most are likely Military so it will probably increase his margin.

Yes, the initial, call, has been made but since it is less than .5 percent they had to recanvas all precincts, This is not a recount.

Could swing the race in the state. Not the election.

Good God... six days after the election and they still haven’t finished counting. Are they losing count each time and having to start over?

Michigan and New Hampshire’s vote tallies are in, according to their secretaries of state — although The Associated Press has not officially called the races, leaving two holes in the electoral map.
Trump won Michigan’s 16 electoral votes by 13,107 votes, with 47.6 percent of the tally, to Clinton’s 47.3 percent.
Clinton holds the edge in New Hampshire, leading President-elect Trump by 2,701 votes, with 47.6 percent for her and 47.2 percent for Trump. If both states’ results were tallied, Trump would claim 306 votes in the Electoral College to Clinton’s 232.
“So long as recounts are possible, AP will not call either race,” said AP spokesman Lauren Easton.
