Oh, you will be shocked. You must have an insider to deal with Congress. Reagan had Baker, long-time insider pol. His first chief of staff, the Judge, was more of a Bannon, but couldn’t put together programs for the long haul and was out pretty quickly.
Bannon’s continued presence tells you Trump is thinking WAY outside the box.
Kellyanne would be great to replace Priebus. She will take her winning campaign style across the GOP spectrum... what she did for Trump she will do for all in the GOP.

That may be true, but Priebus is a very close friend to Paul Ryan. They grew up and went to high school together. This could bode poorly for serving Trump, and molding Trump to the will of the feckless House. Or, it is possible that Priebus could put the squeeze on Ryan’s onions.

Exactly. No mass deportation means that they are not going to attempt to rush out and deport everyone here that is illegal. You go after the criminals first and start enforcing immigration laws... that includes not being able to hire an illegal. There is a rolling momentum started as well as building a wall.
I did not like him (Preibus) in the beginning but it turns out he was largely responsible for keeping the ground game together and helping Trump when the party wanted to abandon him.
The RNC had 62 campaign offices in Florida to Trump’s 1 and Clinton’s 42.
He also wouldn’t abandon Trump to work on down-ballot Republicans after calls to do so at the very end by the RINO scumbags in the party.
The Trump campaign owes him a lot for his loyalty at least.
Agreed, he needs some politicians to help navigate the roles and procedures and they are useful. We need to sit back and give him some time. His entire campaign ran in stages. He hired people for a period and then they parted ways as the campaign went into new stages.
And we all need to shut off the MSM. They are stirring the pot saying Trump is backing off on deportation etc. DO NOT listen to the press, they are liars. They will continue to attack and demoralize for the next 4 years.
I’m not about to second guess Trump. The man knows what he is doing. In Trump I trust.
I had never heard of Steve Bannon until a couple months. CNN says his White House role will bother most Americans. CNN is beyond stupid as most Americans have never heard of Steve Bannon just like me.
I like him more and more as CNN trashes him.

The new media narrative. "Trump has no intention of doing what he promised," "Trump is already backtracking on [fill in the blank]," and on and on. Yawn.
We’re already starting to give the politicians the benefit of he doubt. Reagan was in business as an actor, negotiator for the Actors’ Guild, and spokesmen for GE, long before he reluctantly entered into politics. He brought an army of skilled, smart businessmen to do exactly what Trump has been saying: “drain the swamp” and streamline government to run like a business.
We should not give career politicians the benefit of the doubt. That is what this “anti-establishment movement” is all about. There should be a presumption that career politicians (in politics more than two terms) are per se corrupt (their own political future is more important to them than the future of their constituents or America). The presumption can be rebutted only by clear and convincing evidence.
We need to implement this saying in favor of the American People: “When the American People are afraid of the politicians and government officials, we have tyranny. When the politicians and government officials are afraid of the American People, we have freedom.” I’ll err on the side of freedom any day, and twice on Sunday.

Processed though the courts? No. But President Trump could easily deport all of them without involving any judges. Who would stop him?
