British Independence Party leader Nigel Farage caught up with President Elect Donald Trump again today and tweeted the following picture:

“It was a great honour to spend time with Donald Trump. He was relaxed and full of good ideas. I’m confident he will be a good President”.

Love the picture and the idea that the Winston Churchill bust will be in the WH once more.

If the economy has a solid recovery and Trump moves quickly on reversing all or most all of Obama’s executive orders.
2018 should look pretty good. There are a heck of a lot of Democrat senators running that year!

Clearly the Clintons have been knocked down several pegs.
I suspect Obama and his ilk will control the Rat party for some time to come. The first signal about who controls the party will be who is selected as the head of the DNC.
If Ellison is selected, the party has shifted even father left!

If America, Britain, the UK, Europe, and the western world really saw who the real bastards were, the western world would be saved.

The media needs to be annihilated.

Will see, if they put the muslim in charge of the DNC and change contributions to mandatory jizzya then they haven’t gone left, they have dropped off the planet on the way to replacing democratic republic with a 7th century cult control. England is seeing this happen daily with their all moslem sharia zones, sharia courts and a muzzie radical mayor of the countrys capital.

I agree. But the left’s goal is to destroy our Democratic Republic. At this point I don’t think it matter how.
Except I don’t they have any idea how much devote Muslims
hate the atheistic left.

What a great picture! And is that pin that Nigel Farage is wearing a US and UK flag? That’s fantastic — I want one too!

I didn’t know Churchill’s mortal remains were in such a place of honor.

Thanks for adding that to the thread.

Churchill is one of my very favorite human beings of all time.

Thank you for the correction. I visited the Abbey without a guide and saw the prominent position of Churchill's memorial. Given the innumerable British luminaries entombed within Westminster Abbey, I mistakenly concluded that this was Churchill's toumb and that his mortal remains were there as well.

All in all, the extraordinarily prominent position of his memorial in the very center of the floor at the main entrance of the Abbey is a remarkable testimony to the place he holds in British history and within the heart of the British people.

Someone came up to me in church today and said she had had a rough week - had it been rough for me as well?

I beamed and said, “No. In fact, I’m thrilled.” She backed off and didn’t say anything else.

This is racism - people assume because you are black that you were against the ‘racist’ Trump, instead of actually asking me where I came down on the election.

I was quiet on my FB page all during the election. I posted the picture of Trump and Farage this morning before church and I will continue to post pro-Trump news and pics from now on. Bite me, you &#*#($ liberal ba$tards..

People make a lot of assumptions, don’t they? I look like a hippie and boy are they surprised when I open my mouth.

Oh yes.

If I may share a story that I think might interest you, and please you. Churchill attended one of England's great 'Public Schools' (for historical reasons, some of the top independent non-government schools in England and in some other parts of the Commonwealth are referred to as 'Public Schools' - I attended the one that is generally regarded as Australia's 'best school' so have a soft spot for their traditions), Harrow. Harrow School is over 400 years old (with antecedents dating back at least a further 300 years) and not surprisingly puts great store on its traditions.

One of its great traditions is its school song - 'Forty Years On'. The song tells the story of a group of elderly men who are reflecting on their school days forty (or more) years in the past, and the lessons they learned and how they shaped their life for the better. It's actually been borrowed by a lot of other schools, but it truly belongs to Harrow.

One of my very favourite tributes to Churchill is that a verse was added to the song in his honour and was sung to him on occasion by the boys of the school towards the end of his life from the late 1950s and early 1960s. Apparently he always found it incredibly moving.

Blazoned in honour! For each generation
You kindled courage to stand and to stay
You led our fathers to fight for the nation
Called "Follow up" and yourself showed the way.
We who were born in the calm after thunder
Cherish our freedom to think and to do
If in our turn we forgetfully wonder,
Yet we'll remember we owe it to you.
