Mary watch over Trump!

I'm not going to mention the parish for fear of retribution but at 5:30 mass this evening our priest, who hails from Ghana, talked about the election being over and the protests which bothered him. "I am not a politician but many people will criticize the new leader and protest the outcome. Why don't we pray one decade of the Rosary every day and ask God to help our new leaders." During the closing prayer he asked for a "peaceful transition of power." Would he have done the same if clinton was elected? All i'll say is there is a growing anger by Catholics in my parish towards clinton.
Course, we as good Catholics do that anyway but it doesn't hurt to be reminded...
I’m not Catholic, but I’m sure my leftist minister will be telling us to pray for the country, during tomorrow mornings service.

I prayed for hours on election day. It never hurts, even when the answers dismay.
Repeal the Johnson Amendment.
No longer will the faithful among us be persecuted.

My mother attended Adoration every day last week (in addition to her usual daily Mass). If anyone helped Trump along, she did! ;-)
I was on my knees after he won. It had been years for me and it felt good.
I prayed for Trump for months before the election and prayed at 3:30 AM in thanks after he won...
the larger point of this was a black Catholic priest asking the congregation at mass to pray the Rosary for our new leader...

I am not a Catholic but I will pray to Mary at 530pm Pacific time specifically because this priest is from Ghana. I don’t jnow the rosary but pray:
Mary Goddess give Your Holy Light to Trump this moment, Mother of God. Be his Guardian Lady and Step on the Snake of the Enemy of God.
Before the election, Salvation posted a Novena which I understand is a 9x prayer or service. I did it ever day for the 9 days leading up to the election. I’m not Catholic, but may be before too long.
Is there a Novena of thanks? I say my own little thanksgiving prayers, but wonder if there isn’t something more structured?
The prayers of the faithful brought off the miracle on 11/08/2016. That was only the beginning. We need to keep them up every day.

Loving Father, we, on this FR forum , as praying intercessors for Donald Trump entrust Mr Trump to your care this day; Please send your angels of Protection, Guidance, Peace and Mercy to surround and cover this man. I lift up Donald Trump to You and ask that You would put a hedge of protection around him. Protect his spirit, body, mind, and emotions from any kinds of evil or harm. I pray specifically for protection from those to mean him harm, to silence his speech, to hinder his actions, to negate any success.He has commenced on this perilous journey. We pray for our leaders so we will be able to live in stable society that allows us to focus on worshiping God. Heavenly Father, in the name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ, we call upon Your Holy Name in perilous times, and we ask You for Your divine protection over this man and all of the necessities that sustain him, and that he may obtain mercy and find grace in times of need. Hide him from any kind of evil influences that would come against him or his family. Keep Donald Trump and his family safe from any hidden dangers and let no weapon from against them prosper.
Thank You, Lord, for Your many promises of protection. Help them to walk in Your ways and in obedience to Your will so that they never come out from under the umbrella of that protection. Keep them safe in all they do wherever they go. Please grant him an extra measure of patience, wisdom, integrity, endurance and perseverance. Grant Donald Trump; and his family the wisdom to understand Your timing.
Let it be done in Your glory, Lord.
