They’ve been fighting this since at least the 1920s and whether a slow incrementalism or major lurches forward, they know and realize it is a multi-generational fight.
This is why from Dewey forward they targeted the educational system, to the point where today “dispositions” tests of personality are intended to weed out conservatives because only liberal viewholders are appropriate to educate children. Ditto the deliberate infiltration and domination of education. At colleges, it is so set that they don’t see anything wrong with the discrimination because their views are utterly reinforced at all levels.
