California’s new U.S. senator is positioning herself to be a leader in the fight against Donald Trump on immigration.
Kamala Harris’ first public appearance as senator-elect this week was at the headquarters of an immigrants’ rights group in Los Angeles. Harris has followed the appearance up with a post on the website Medium saying she wanted “every immigrant family in this country – as well as the new Trump administration – to know exactly where I stood on immigration reform.”

One side respects the law and one side violates the law. Not that difficult. Anyhow Kamala you are going to be a junior senator from California replacing the do nothing Barbara Boxer. Get off your high horse.
Given that much of what Obama did regarding immigration was by Executive Order and not enforcing the law, that can easily be undone by the Trump Administration and there is little to nothing a junior senator in the minority party can do about it.
California will become the first majority-illegal-immigrant state.
She can’t fight squat. The laws are already on the books. Trump doesn’t have to pass anything to get rid of the illegals.
It’s a form of national insanity which is prevalent and growing that there are now millions of citizens who believe that violation of the law is perfectly okay - as long as it’s done by Mexicans.
This is the one the demoRats are “grooming” to run for President. She is very ambitious as well.
I wonder what illegal acts she is going to commit now. She sure did a lot of circumventing the law as AG.
It’s good to see this pretty face is joining a fight that CA can’t win. Trump can destroy her now and save doing it in four years, although she would make an easy mark to defeat.

Harris is your typical liberal lawyer, deciding what laws she will obey and what laws she will disobey. Like all liberal lawyers, she will put you in jail for disobeying her illegal laws.
Punish California sanctuary cities, they’ll get in line soon enough. Kill the EPA regulations causing drought in the Central Valley, bring the defense contractors back on our side in Orange County and deport illegals and the state will turn back to its Conservative roots or at least make it more balanced.

She's depending on the MSM to show thousands of crying illegals being deported, screaming children, people lacing their fingers into the wires of chain-link fencing.
She's depending on the MSM to make it seem like "enforcing the law" is the same as "passing massive new 'anti-immigrant' legislation that breaks up families and will drive America into an economic depression."
He has to be prepared to fight the MSM headwind every day, every hour, on every issue.
The MSM is going to try to shellac him on the subject of global warming, and on many other issues he campaigned on and will now try to implement.
The goal is to flip the Congress to Democrat control and — using the resulting subpoena and budget powers — stop Trump dead in his tracks during years three and four.
They will use the subpoena and budget powers against us that the Republicans in Congress were too timid/corrupt to use.
Give it a try with your wanna’ be David, but don’t expect the same result againt Goliath Trump.

Harris will be one of the most hard core leftist in the senate. If, I had to choose, I would take Boxer...that is how bad Harris will be. Absolutely lawless.
