President-Elect Donald Trump revealed private details of his phone calls with Hillary and Bill Clinton after he defeated Hillary in the presidential election.
“It was a lovely call, and it was a tough call for her,” Donald Trump explained during an interview with CBS 60 Minutes, adding that the failed Democratic candidate for president “couldn’t have been nicer” during the phone call.
“She just said, ‘Congratulations, Donald, well done,’” Trump recalled.
Trump sat down with 60 Minutes for an interview that will air Sunday. Excerpts of the interview were released to the press and aired on CBS Evening News.
Trump also revealed that former president Bill Clinton also called him days later.
“He couldn’t have been more gracious,” Trump said. “He said it was an amazing run. One of the most amazing he’s ever seen. He was very, very, really, very nice.”
Trump called Hillary a “great competitor” who was “very strong and very smart” and described Bill Clinton as a “very talented guy.”
But when asked if he would ask former president Bill Clinton for advice, he did not commit.
“Certainly, I would certainly think about that,” he concluded.

Lots of legal stuff potentially coming up - if married, they have “spousal privilege” (see link). If they divorce, that spousal privilege ends. They will never divorce.

Everyone knows Obummer or Corrupt want Trump to fail. No one is asking Trump to come out and openly attack either Clinton or Obama during this transitions period. But Trump also doesnt have to give them glowing remarks about how impressed he is with how impressed they are with his stunning victory.
They are attempting to manipulate Trump with flattery in an effort to stop him from criticizing them on any level. It's as if Obama and the Clintons's are going over board with their new found Trump praise, which comes off phone because it's obvious they do not want Trump to succeed on any level. That is a fact. The Clintons will never forget that Trump held a press conference before the debate with Clinton's 4 accusers. And they will never forget that Trump told Corrupt to her face that she belongs in jail.
The women Trump brought to the debate and many others will not give the Clintons a pass just because Bill called Trump and said praised Trump for running one of the most amazing campaigns he's ever seen. Not buying it. When Clintons's right hand person Stephanapolis said he will move outta the country if Trump is elected. Not buying that the Clintons are over that Trump brought the 4 women to the debate.
We do not care about Bill Clinton's opinion. Bill Clinton is corrupt and should not be elevated for his opinion. Bill Clinton and Obama are only trying to soften Trump up in order to take him down. They have an agenda against Trump and are trying to get Trump to stop talking about them in a negative light.
He doesn't have to publicly go against them during the transition period, but everyone needs to understand the Clintons and Obama only want Trump to fail and they are already attempting to befriend Trump in an effort to shut him down.
Yes of course the Clintons were nice. Donald holds their futures in his hands now.
Hopefully he will unleash Trey Gowdey on them both.
Hillary could not compete with Trump. Now she will have to compete with Obama for speaker fees. Times are tough.

Bill Clinton is a criminal and a disgusting person.
That said, he understands political strategy and tactics. If you read the Pedosta emails you will see many instances where Bill gave the campaign advice and Hillary ignored it.
I am sure Bill understand exactly what mistakes Hillary was making. Part of his “slickness” is that he never over-played his hand. He would never want to operate in an environment where every single newspaper endorsed him, where every single television outlet sung his praises 24/7. Bill understood that this kind of media coverage would freak people out and get them looking elsewhere (where he didn’t want them to go...).
When Hillary goes to jail, does she still get SS protection?
They need to stay together because of all that money and because they need to be united behind Chelsea as she is slipped into the Dem political machine. That’s purposely in passive voice.
Also, they are both old, which is not a great time to make a huge change in your home life. They knew each other when, they each know where the bodies are buried. Divorced elderly don’t live as long or as well.
From my point of view, it would be great to see them part with animosity. Together, they remain a threat to freedom and the republic.
I think in a way, Bill Clinton is relieved that she didn’t win. It definitely would have put a damper on his trips to Lolita Island.
