No football. I now watch rugby, especially 7 man, male and female. Fast and fun. The only thing i watched on the olympics. And how about the new secdef pulling the $50M for patriotic displays and using it to suport veterans. That could hurt the league too.

That’s right, stay away. Don’t patronize in any respects

And certainly don’t vote for any stadium/arena measures

Yeah that’s the ticket, reduce ads which reduces revenue, shorten games which also reduces revenue rather then address the problem that is actually reducing revenue.

I wonder how long it will take before they stumble onto the real reason for this?

I guess they could ask the average fan, who tends to be white, largely blue collar, therefore not worth asking!

It gets worse. Thanks to Colon Krapperdick and the NFL standing behind him and other drama queens it will effect the next NFL draft. College juniors who will be draft eligible will now have another reason to leave school early for the draft as there wont be as much money to go around as previous seasons. College players will be advised to get in (the NFL) while the getting is still good. There are some players ( Clemson ) who I wish would still be on our team next season but it looks like waiting a year could cost them millions thanks to the NFL’s current run off the fans antics.

Most sponsorship and TV deals are already set for next season but if the NFL decides to keep up with their self inflicted crash dive then after that is anyone’s guess. Most of the rest of us aren’t the idiots that the NFL thinks we are, and that includes future players and agents.

Also sponsors could take the NFL to court for intentionally devaluing their product. Another reason why they refuse to acknowledge the real reason for losing their viewers.

The problems are not the length of the games. Ads are a pain and reducing those would be good but are not the cause for ratings drop.

ratings started plunging as the league got behind kaepernick and his disrespect for the flag, our history, and our veterans.

meanwhile... the league ATTACKED tebow for daring to pray and display his own beliefs.

in short, people walked away from the politically correct bs of the left. if the NFL stops embracing the commie dogma... then maybe Americans will return.

maybe.

Things to do other than watch the NFL: Take a day off from your job. Pick up litter thrown around your neighborhood. Read the bible. Go to church. Spend time with your wife, the mother of your kids, doing chores. Wave and smile to police who drive by. Take down your Trump signs. Go to the range and do some shooting. Watch youtube videos of WWII and the Korean War and other important American History.

You had Trump signs in YOUR 'hood? NFW! How many times were they stolen, shot and/or shat upon?

No, not in my hood. I wanted one but didn't want to be abused.
