Lou Dobbs: If I Were Trump My Hands Would Have Been Clutching at Paul Ryan’s Throat

Donald Trump flew to Washington DC on Thursday to meet with President Obama, Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Paul Ryan was a very vocal critic of Donald Trump for the past year. Ryan even pulled his endorsement of Donald Trump a month before the election. If Ryan was not on Hillary’s payroll he should have been.

Tonight Lou Dobbs remarked on Trump’s meeting with anti-Trump Speaker Paul Ryan.

Lou Dobbs: I’ve got to tell you I’m such a base and petty man that if Paul Ryan had done to me what he did to Donald Trump my hands would, without any power to resist it all, would be clutching at his throat. And, I have to say, Donald Trump was very presidential. He actually may be seeking to attain the level of saint here in what he has tolerated.

Agendas. Overuse of random ' is depleting the supply and we will soon reach peak 's and won't be able to express possessives any more. It will lead to a stock market collapse and contribute to global warming.

If Trump will sign the bills, the Republicans won’t pass them. This is likely still a Democrat Congress just like the one we have had for 8 years. It doesn’t matter that nominal Republicans sit in most of the chairs over there. The Democrats are still the Boss. Chevrolet and GMC are two different vehicles but they are all GM.

Better than me or Better than I am.

Prolixus is correct. The correct usage is: Trump is a better man than I."

In this construction, the word "am" is understood.

The total sum of their help will be the square root of zero.

Donald better watch those Republicans. The only reason that they are patting him on the back is to find a soft place to plunge the knife.

When, to the best of your personal knowledge, have the Republicans fought the Democrats on anything that matters? Oh the Republicans will fight o.k., but it will be Donald that they are fighting.

Trump's no fool - he'll use Ryan w/o letting Ryan use him.

Ryan showed he's not as astute as he thinks he is and Trump has shown he's far more savvy than most would have dreamed...

I will say this..and may get blasted for it..I have in the past...

But Trump has a long memory. So does Jared Kushner. See Chris Christie. I think Trump was very interested in Chris Christie as VP.He is Trumps kind of guy. I believe Jared and Ivanka AXED it.

WHY would they do it. There are a lot of reasons why Christie shouldn’t have been VP..but Chris Christie put Jared’s dad in prison.

Jared (behind the scenes power) and Trump will absolutely not forget or forgive what Ryan did.

Trump has popular support and he knows it. If Congress won’t do what he asks, he can appeal to the Deplorables to convince them.

In fact, with a little practice he could become quite persuasive with his army of the unwashed. Now that he’s won office without selling out to the monied interests, he can express complete contempt for those who are still sold.

This could be fun.

While we are talking Dobbs, did anyone see Christian Adams?

He pointed out that even if Zero pardons Hillary SHE HAS TO ACCEPT IT. He said people HAVE “gone to the gallows” in spite of being pardoned because they insisted they were innocent. Interesting.

My solution is to demand Ryan submit his resignation and then ask NewtT to be speaker for 2 years so he can pass the entire Trump program.

Newt balanced 2 federal budgets and passed the bill ending welfare as we know it.

Also Newt passed most of the Contract with America.

Now he can see about passing Term Limits which were not passed in the original contract

Trump is now the leader of the Republican party. Somehow I think Trump will wait for the right moment for the proper payback.

Love Lou Dobbs. It was his coverage Tuesday night that we watched. I would bet $$$ President Trump’s first interview after being sworn in will be with Lou Dobbs on the fox BUSINESS channel. Laughing at the thought of all those liberal press who will be losing their jobs because no one in the new administration will want to go on their shows. We thought their ratings were low before. HaHa!
