They are the ones who can decide if he has the maturity and judgement to continue to run the company. If they decide the answer is “no”, they can offer him a few take-out bags to hold the contents of his desk as he leaves. If they are really grumpy, they can let him find his own containers.

Stock manipulation was the 2nd thing I thought. Someone needs to check into buying and selling activity before and after the news.
First thing I thought was that the guy was drunk as a skunk. Still think that’s a strong possibility.
Yes, that’s what this kind of behavior will eventually turn into. And how interesting that it’s associated with FOOD. I always found Robert Foxworth’s CEO(?) comments very interesting in Omen II. Granted it was just a movie, but that particular part seemed quite spot-on.
