The Democratic candidate said she hoped Donald Trump would make a good President despite the "painful" loss.
Her voice cracking, she said: "I know how disappointed you feel because I feel it too. This is painful and it will be for a long time."
Speaking today in New York, she said: "Last night I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful President on behalf of all Americans. I am sorry we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we hold for this country but I feel pride and gratitude for this campaign. You represent the best of America."

Last night I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country ... provided he quits calling me 'Crooked Hillary' ... lets me keep the cash that I looted using the Clinton Foundation ... and goes soft on his promise to lock me up.
“This is painful and it will be for a long time.”
All the more reason you shouldn’t be president, Mrs. Snowflake.
Not for me...
[This is painful and will be for a long time]
HILLARY and BILL will have a long time to think about how they attempted to destroy America as they sit in jail.
“You represent the best of America.”
That is, everyone who didn’t vote for her is a deplorable and not the best of America.
“Tears of a Clown”
“And I think it’s gonna hurt me, for a long, long time.”
Her voice always cracks and trembles and I didn’t see one tear. Who is kidding who?
What a poor candidate she was. She had nothing to offer aside from her need for power and the desire to be “the first woman president”. You’d think after 8 years of Obamunism the ‘rat party would have found a more centrist candidate. Nope, the choices were an evil witch and an aging commie. They ended up picking one of the most polarizing figures in american political history.
“Her ‘achievements’ as a woman” . . .
You mean essentially riding the coat tails of a man
And then fumbling the opportunity with lies, fraud, treason and incompetence?
Her voice is always painful.
You better put some ice on that.
She’s wearing
‘Conciliatory Purple’ to reach across the aisle.
Well it has been painful for us too: nearly 30 years of a Bush-Clinton regime that has destroyed the economic engine of this great nation. 94 million people out of work is some achievement. Go suck mothballs, you crook!
She really is in pain.
She should lie[r] down, yell for her hubby to come over, and task him with fetching and then putting some ice on it.
Why were they both wearing purple? Hopefully not in support of domestic violence considered bill’s raping of women.
