Things were different in 1980 - most of the Depression/WW2 folks were still alive and kicking, and they actually loved this country. Well, my Latina Overlordette voted for Trump - she hates the Witch with a passion. Quite a number, especially the guys (who REALLY don’t like some nasty old hag telling them what to do), feel the same way.
