According to a new report from Fox News correspondents Adam Housley and Malia Zimmerman, guards hired through a contractor by the State Department to protect the U.S. consulate in Benghazi were unvetted, local militia members who belonged to terrorist groups Al Qaeda and Ansar al-Sharia. An obscure private firm hired by the State Department over internal objections to protect U.S. diplomats in Benghazi just months before the American ambassador and three others were killed was staffed with hastily recruited locals with terror ties who helped carry out the attack, multiple sources told Fox News.

OBAMA ADMIN SENT UNARMED BRITISH FIRM TO PROTECT U.S. MISSION IN BENGHAZI "No Bullets" ROE Sept. 18, 2012For this reason, according to the source, American Marines were not stationed at the U.S. embassy in Tripoli or the American mission in Benghazi, as would typically have been the case. In the spirit of a "low profile," the administration didn't even want an American company in charge of private security. Blue Mountain, the British firm the State Department hired, was willing to abide by the "no bullets" Rules of Engagement (ROE), so were a logical fit for the contract. These sub-standard protections for American diplomats were signed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the ROE.
------------------------------------------------
State Dept Reverses Denial of Hiring British Security Firm in Benghazi 9/19/2012Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland admitted that she provided false information Friday about the State Department's hiring of private security firms for the American mission in Benghazi attacked on September 11th:
----------------------------------------------------------
British firm secured Benghazi consulate contract with little experience 10/14/2012Sources have told the Daily Telegraph that just five unarmed locally hired Libyans were placed on duty at the compound on eight-hour shifts under a deal that fell outside the State Department's global security contracting system.
Blue Mountain, the Camarthen firm that won a $387,000 (£241,000) one year contract from the US State Department to protect the compound in May, sent just one British employee, recruited from the celebrity bodyguard circuit, to oversee the work.
------------------------------------------------------
Militia State Dept. Hired [at] Benghazi Compound Were Complicit in Terrorist Attack (shortened) May 9, 2013Elements of the February 17 Martyrs Brigade, the Libyan militia hired by the U.S. State Department to station members as residents inside the U.S. compound in Benghazi and to protect the U.S. diplomats there, were complicit in the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack that killed Amb. Chris Stevens and three other Americans, according to the testimony of Greg Hicks, who was the department's second-ranking diplomat in Libya at the time of the attack.
------------------------------------------------------
Blow-by-Blow: How Obama & Hillary Left Americans to Die "Nordstrom further testified in writing that Hillary Clinton waived security requirements for the Benghazi consulate despite high and critical threat levels in the six categories of security standards established under the Overseas Security Policy Board and the Secure Embassy Construction and Counterterrorism Act of 1999. The waiver can only be authorized by the Secretary of State, who cannot delegate that responsibility to someone else. If the Secretary of State did not waive these requirements, who did so by ordering occupancy of the facilities in Benghazi and Tripoli? Nordstrom wrote."
-------------------------------------------------------
Hillary Clinton on State Dept. budget for FY 2012.
FY 2012 Budget Request March 10, 2011 "The second part of our request funds the extraordinary, temporary portion of our war effort the same way the Pentagons request is funded: in a separate Overseas Contingency Operations account known as OCO. Instead of covering war expenses through supplemental appropriations, we are now taking a more transparent approach that fully reflects the integrated civilian-military efforts. Our share of the Presidents $126 billion request for exceptional wartime costs is $8.7 billion. So all told, we have a $47 billion operational account and an $8.7 billion Overseas Contingency Operations account."
(snip)
"But let me just quickly walk you through this, because on this issue of our $8.7 billion Overseas Contingency Operations, we have the strongest support from Secretary Gates, from Admiral Mullen. And next week I was speaking with General Petraeus last night. He will be here on the Hill strongly supporting the civilian effort that goes hand-in-hand with what he is doing so heroically in Afghanistan. So we are funding vital civilian missions in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq with this $8.7 billion."
That is Hillary speaking there that's why it's in quotes.

Blue Mountain Group was not directly hired by DoS but rather a subcontractor to a larger company (Aegis) that was the prime contractor, correct?

“I wonder what he knew that required that he be silenced”
He knew what others in the area knew, that HRC/Obama were using them to get rockets and other high powered munitions to the terrorists.
We here at FR knew shortly after the attack and deaths of the four that the security was totally compromised.
The ones that went in to rescue Americans in jeopardy were NOT authorized to do so.
Thank goodness they did their job in spite of our government's efforts to wipe out all the witnesses to their treasonous traitorous plan.
Obama/Hillary wanted ALL of the people killed.
That at story isn't exactly "BREAKING" news, but good to get this story out there at FR under the BN banner.

If the Clintons are involved, then it’s about money. Any body remember Sid Blumenthal talking with the Beast about the “opportunities”in the new Libya. Sid and the ex CIA guy (who died in the past year) were talking with her about security related revenue streams. They were talking about a Blackwater type company.
Every one around the Clintons were scrambling to make their millions while she was at State!

By this time tomorrow, it will make a huge difference. Does Trump try and then hang her, does Obama pardon her in anticipation of Trump, or do people just point at her and laugh as she walks along the street, out of public office for good.

I am not sure we knew, at the time of Benghazi, just much corruption there is in our government. 1. I don't know about you, but I sure did.
2. More importantly, THEY sure did -- or at least the U.S. ambassador did. Like I said before, the whole operation was rotten from top to bottom.

I'm sorry, but working as a private security contractor in a foreign country doesn't make you "patriotic" at all. In fact, by definition you are likely to be involved in operations that are conducted outside normal government oversight and without any legal protection.
Did you think these guys were over there to rescue children from orphanages?

I was working at the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Baghdad in 1983. There were NO Marine Guards there; the security was provided by Iraqi civilians. We were totally unarmed and at the mercy of any bad guys. There were six levels of security for any spy to penetrate; he would have to be able to penetrate six different combination locks. He wouldn’t have to worry about the clock. Every regulation regarding security was broken at US INT Baghdad. Outside the wire it wasn’t much better. We weren’t able to carry because to go about packing was considered to be “incompatible with our diplomatic status.” Somehow, we survived.
