China is getting more and more involved in the American movie business, and there may be some negative consequences.
The Dalian Wanda Group, a Chinese multinational conglomerate corporation, plans to invest billions of dollars in Hollywood’s “Big Six” studios, the China Daily reported. Wanda controls thousands of movie screens around the world and is owned by the richest man in China, billionaire Wang Jianlin.

I hope they replace all the actors now with Chinese actors.

I fail to see the problem here.
Given the fact that Hollywood, except for a few movies, here and there, has been rather unsuccessful lately, I don’t see this as much of a problem. If the Chinese get involved, they’ll start paying the actors nothing, just like their slave labor making iPhones. Hollywood will die on the vine.

Why is that a problem? Chinese movies are pretty good. They’d probably help improve the quality of the dreck Hollyweird produces.
