Very strange that, the more pernicious and damaging islam makes itself, the more our world governments move to protect it and its adherents.
Canada will be another good place for Hillary voters to go after she loses.

I dittoed you, because you saved me the trouble of typing much the same thing.
Often such motions are simply a way of taking the pressure off government over an issue, without having to actually do anything about it. That’s often enough to mollify activists, until some other shinny object catches their eye.
However, this motion does reveal some disturbing things about the Lieberal mindset. It is also likely to be seen as a signal to the various Human Rights Commissions (a perfectly Orwellian name for those fascistic bodies). Expect fines and worse for anyone found “guilty” of harbouring bad feelings toward Islamist terrorists and their fellow travelers.
I’m not sure jihad watch is telling the real story . The motion needed unanimous consent to pass.
After question period, Mulcair, acting on an e-petition sponsored by Liberal MP Frank Baylis, asked the House to join the more than 66,000 Canadians urging parliamentarians to condemn all forms of Islamophobia.
While most MPs yelled out: “Agreed.” A handful of Conservatives said: “No.”
The motion was denied.
Conservative government members of Parliament did not support the motion, and the Liberal MP from Mississauga Centre, Omar Alghabra, referred to the Conservative attitude as “troubling.”
Samer Majzoub, the initiator of the petition, was in Ottawa to witness his motion pass and told reporters that he was sad to see Conservative MPs block the motion.
Your point well taken by me. I just could not get any actual numbers on the voting. I suppose one would have to go to Hansard for that. In any case a "condemnation" seems to be superfluous to me. I just wonder about the "hate crimes" brigade.

Candice Bergen is the Conservative House leader. This happened on Oct.26th. Mulcair made his motion at 3:10 pm ,Bergin made hers at 3:15 pm.
