If what they have is as bad as everybody’s been told, Comey would be toast for whitewashing it all AGAIN!!

If he were to say that, he would be claiming that while it took a year to investigate 30k emails, he was able to thoroughly investigate 650k emails in 7 days.

If the W. Administration can ‘make a mistake’ about there being Weapons of Mass Destruction, then yes, Comey can take the easy way out and squeeze through that mousehole.
Of course, his resignation should soon follow, because his remaining credibility, already in a brittle state after events this June, will be shot completely to bits.
