So how do you plan on spending election night? (Vanity)

Posted on 11/01/2016 8:24:46 AM PDT by Scythian_Reborn

I love presidential elections and typically stay up so late I worry about making it to work the next day but I just can't help myself.

However, this year, now that Fox News has officially registered in the "D" column, I might spare myself the frustration of listening to how "Hillary is Crushing" it in the exit polls and that it's all over (even though I know they'll be lying). I think I might just watch a movie. I've never done that before, but I don't think I can watch the disinformation stream flow all night. If Hannity has a coverage program I will watch that, otherwise, I'm voting and waiting till morning before I peak out and see where we stand.

What about you?

I plan to return safely from a dangerous slog through occupied communist territory, where I will have cast my deplorable vote for Donald Trump, and to throw every filthy corrupt incumbent out.

I will vote NO on all ballot propositions, except the final Omnibus Prop. Zero banning any new California ballot propositions until 2076, including retroactively Prop. Zero itself.  I always vote NO on all ballot propositions, since my world is perfect exactly as it is; no reason whatsoever for the slightest disruption. Three rare exceptions this year: YES on Props 53, 54, 66. Make it harder to approve revenue bonds > $2 Billion for trains-to-nowhere boondoggles; read the damn bills before voting on them; streamline death-penalty mechanics.

Once safely back at the Lab, I will be ready for the great American reconstruction victory celebration!  After adjusting my MAGA cap, I will celebrate bigly with a bag of stale airline pretzels from 2010, a small glass of filtered water, & a dried plum sent over by the California Prune Advisory Board.  I plan to party all night or until 10 PM, whichever comes first, in the dark, alone.

No TV, ever. I turned off the idiot tube in 1958, once I realized all the news, ads, & programming were entirely fraudulent.

I will check FR regularly for vote-count updates.

One more exception for the great Trump / Pence victory. This year I will open the last 1988 Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse De Lalande / Pauillac – Gironde, resting in quiet repose in the Lab's massive Transtherm Ermitage (temperature-controlled to 57o F) cabinet (rack 11, slot 5).

I haven’t decided yet on Beefeater Gin or Bulleit Rye.

Black Bush...from the oldest licensed distillery in the world...Best Irish...Better than Scotch. And then if that runs out, some good rye (But not Bulleit).

Trump will win...big...don't know how soon we will know that from the Lame Stream (includes most of Fox).

In 1980 Carter conceded before the polls closed in California.

Hillary might never concede. Might be suicidal.

I’ve got a feeling that the neighbors in our valley will be celebrating with fireworks and gunfire.

Some movie theater chain (AMC?) is supposedly offering an election night screening at select theaters, with a “blue” section and a “red” section. Never heard of this before. News article was from yesterday.
