With over 216,000 absentee ballots added on Halloween, North Carolina's absentee ballot pool is getting closer to two million ballots, with 95 percent of those having been accepted as votes for the November 8 general election, now a week away (and everyone say AMEN).
The total absentee ballots, by party registration and method of voting, stands at 1,970,525
This represents a nearly 8 percent increase from the same day in 2012.
In terms of party registration within the voting methods (both mail-in and in-person), the total ballots breaks down to 43 percent from registered Democrats, 31 percent from registered Republicans, and 25 percent from registered unaffiliated:

I live in the Piedmont of North Carolina, here we have Yellow Dog Democrats and Blue Dog Democrats.
My opinion, the Yellow Dog are Clinton democrats, Blue Dog are a bit more conservative.
During election 2012, 2 women got into a fight at the polling place, the democrat was charged, minor charges.
This year seems very calm.

African Americans only make up 22% of the electorate this year, compared to 28% in 2012 when Romney women the state by 3. That is a killer decline in turnout for Hillary. NC is getting close to solid Trump.

I checked 2012 and it was 56% women.
Romney lost women by 2% and won men by 9%.
The latest poll (remington) shows trump winning men by 7% and losing women by 7%.
I’d expect polls to move more positive trump as we get closer to election, but it could be a problem

Also in NC white Democrats tend to go for the R more often then the rest of the nation. Keep drilling into cross tabs and it gets worse and worse for H. She’s losing NC by more than a 5 point margin,
