The FBI stumbled upon a trove of emails from one of Hillary Clinton's top aides weeks ago, law enforcement officials told CNN Sunday.
But FBI Director James Comey didn't disclose the discovery until Friday, raising questions about why the information was kept under wraps and then released only days before the election.
The timeline behind the discovery of the emails came into greater clarity Sunday. Investigators took possession of multiple computers related to the inquiry of Anthony Weiner in early October, U.S. law enforcement officials said. Weiner is Abedin's estranged husband and is being probed about alleged sexting with a purportedly underage girl.
Technical experts at the FBI began procedures to catalogue the emails found on one of the computers and soon found emails belonging to Abedin. The discovery surprised investigators, triggering legal issues because the search warrant was limited to the sexting case. That's why the Justice Department sought the new search warrant.
Senior officials at the FBI, including Andrew McCabe, the FBI deputy director, were briefed on the issue. By mid-October, Comey learned investigators in the Weiner case might have found something that could have an impact on the now-closed probe into Hillary Clinton's private email server, according to one law enforcement official. Comey was told investigators were still trying to figure out how many emails existed and their pertinence to the Clinton probe. Senior Justice Department officials were briefed on the situation about a week ago and Comey was given a full briefing Thursday, the officials said, triggering his decision to notify members of Congress Friday that the FBI was reviewing emails potentially related to Clinton's server.

Honestly, what has been exposed against Hillary is a miracle. We would have never known anything and Hillary would have likely pulled this off, but miraculously, Weiner blows it up. Too unusual. God is answering the prayers. I want to join them.

I'm not praying for Trump to win, I'm instead praying that (a) all across the country, at federal/state/county/municipal levels, that God helps us put in men who will do Justly, who love mercy, and who walk humbly with God [Micah 6:8] into positions of power/authority; and (b) that God destroy the plans of the globalists, that he rip all their power away and that all their money takes wings and flies away, that He should prove Himself the Lord of Nations and not these loathsome usurpers.
In short, I don't want merely a single person put in power; I want a tidal wave of good and virtuous men in government — ones with the bravery and fortitude to call the traitors to account. I'm reminded of the following:

I'm betting that is just speculation. But it is interesting speculation since it would explain completely the events of the last two days and Comey's motivation to write his letter.
So I'm hoping it't true, that Wikileaks has the emails, that they are full of incriminating information and that they are released in the next two days.

Imagine, a FBI Dir going to jail for obstruction of justice. Comey is just a pawn in the effort to get Hillary elected. HE and Lynch were told there would be NO indictment.
In emailgate, jail time will be dished out to those who lied just like there was jail time in Watergate for those who followed illegal orders.
It's obvious Comey is getting nervous about a long jail sentence. On the other hand, Lynch still thinks Hussein and Hillary can protect her.
As in Watergate, one by one the pawns will go down to protect the king. Hussein Obama is the one who ordered NO INDICTMENT. Hussein would burn the Constitution and launch a nuclear salvo at Russia to get Hillary elected President.
This makes a lot of sense. They found out about it a few weeks ago and investigated it quietly. When they recognized they had something undeniable importance, Comed notified Congress.
He’d have been a fool to say something before he knew he had the goods. He’d have been negligent if he had waited til afte the election.
Perhaps Comey wanted to wait and see if McCabe would tell his wife, a major recipient of Hillary dinero.
