(CNN)Donald Trump's oft-repeated claim that the FBI's investigation of "Crooked Hillary" and the presidential election itself were and are "rigged," seems to have thrown FBI Director James Comey into a state of panic. In foolishly making a public announcement that the bureau is reviewing newly discovered emails related to Hillary Clinton's personal server, he has inserted himself yet again into the presidential campaign.
The FBI virtually never announces the commencement or termination of ongoing criminal investigations or the discovery of new evidence. Such inquiries are often conducted in relative secrecy, enabling a more efficient investigation. It is not unusual for investigations in so-called "white collar" cases to go on for years, luring the target into an unfounded belief that he or she is in the clear. Then the hammer falls. A grand jury indictment is announced by the Department of Justice and the handcuffs are swiftly employed.

Perhaps it's time for the embattled FBI director who seems to have forgotten how to conduct a proper investigation to resign.

and the AG virtually never meets in private with the spouse of the target of an ongoing FBI investigation just days before the FBI director announces no charges recommended... and the FBI virtually never agrees to immunity that includes the destruction of evidence... the FBI virtually never questions a target of an investigation in the presence of another target of the same investigation... the FBI virtually never asserts that ignorance of the law and lack of recollection of key events indicates lack of intent and a non-prosecutable case... lots of virtually nevers going around this election!
Callen and the commie toads like him were all lining up to kiss Comey’s as back in July. I wonder what happened.
Clinton created her own problem. Had she complied and provided all email and devices - rather than selecting, BitBleaching, and
hammering - there wouldn’t be any email to surface at a later date - such as now.
She tried to kick the can down the road but it didn’t work out. Now it’s coming back to bite her in the asz.
It may turn out that there is nothing in these emails, but she created this problem and can’t blame the FBI, Congress or anyone else for it.
The DNC were fools to nominate her.

Why is CNN not in financial trouble?
CNN receives programming reimbursement from the U.S. State Department via The Bureau of International Information Programs; the same State Department program that pays Facebook for content. CNN is not as reliant on ad revenue because they get tens of millions from the U.S. State Department.
CNN knows that President Trump will stop this funding when he is president.
End CNN’s state department funding and CNN by electing President Trump!

This doesn’t change the fact that Comey is in the tank for the ‘Toons. The email server which was set up to obstruct justice by itself was enough to put Hill in the fed pen for over a decade.
Here is my theory.
Comey has millions in ill gotten gains from Billary.
So he put people he has the goods on to investigate Billary.
Meanwhile the NYPD Special Crimes Unit has an investigation going on on Wiener.
So there is all this evidence that Comey can’t destroy as it is outside his control.
Oh, crap! He has to go public with it.
It is obvious that this is NOT due to serious evidence, or threats to national security because by just setting up the server to obstruct justice that bar was already met.
It has been widely reported the lengths to which Comey was going to destroy all Clinton evidence.
Of course we have been hearing about the mutiny in the FBI, so that put more pressue on Comey as well. This is likely worse that we’ve heard. The problem is that Comey cannot fire anyone, as they will go to the press.
They loved Wikileaks when they were harming our nation and are now enraged because they are saving it.
Hillary is no marlin. More like a dogfish.
America has something about sex fiends... and a sex fiend being in on the supposedly classified information is a whole ‘nother level of bother for the USA.

He did not make a public announcement, I think he wrote a letter to some officials of both parties and they made it public.
