Hillary Clinton continued to gain ground against Donald Trump, with her lead in a four-way matchup climbing to 4 points — 45% to 41% — according to the latest IBD/TIPP presidential tracking poll. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson gets 7% of the vote and Jill Stein 2%.
In a two-way matchup, Clinton tops Trump by 46% to 41%.
Both are the best showings for Clinton in the IBD/TIPP poll, and both are close to the Real Clear Politics average, which has Clinton up 4.4 points in a four-way race and 5.2 points in a two-way race.

If you think I'm a concern troll who's betraying the cause -- a charge which my long FR posting history will easily debunk -- then ask the moderator to delete it. But personally, I think stuff like this has a place here, because we need to see the good, the bad and the ugly.
At this point I am ignoring all polls. Just like football predictions - let’s play the game.
Take the margin of error, double it and add it to Trump's total. That should give you a good idea of where the race really is.

I just don't understand how she can have risen that much in any poll.
Some fella I work with suggested there are trolls among those being polled...basically pretending to support Hillary so the DEMS feel all warm and fuzzy and then on election day....BAM! So my wonder is, is there an underground movement on this? Pretending to support Hillary to keep the DEMS off the scent??

You just beat me to posting this, but this poll is utter garbage and the pollster is in absolute denial. IBD was the most accurate pollster last 3 elections, but a blind man could have predicted Obama the last 2. This poll is a travesty and a joke.
First, the raw totals are 332D 359R 307I reweighted to 368D 299D 318I. So because of the pollsters “judgement”, he just made 60 Republican respondents disappear amd 36 Democrats appear. Every day of this poll has shown more Republicans than Dems in the sample, yet IBD willingly clings to the 2008/2012 turnout assumption. Also, Trump is pulling 15% of the AA vote even with the bull reweighting. This is blowout territory for Trump and they are trying everything they can to prop her up.
