I’m not ready to believe “it’s what they do” unless I hear it from somebody (a lot) entrenched in Wisconsin. They have Walker as governor and some very real anti-socialistic support there. I don’t think it’s “just what they do,” frankly.

I worked in Madison, Wisconsin for three years, and lived in Wisconsin for the last year of that before moving to Columbus, Georgia just before 2015. I worked in the bowels of the state DOT. I listened to the local versions of Vicki McKenna, and still do via I-Heart-Radio. She is MUCH better than Charlies Sykes or Mark Belling.

Walker winning hasn't slowed down the termites, and their leftist training camp in Madison. They are STILL smarting from the Walker wins. They would fear a Walker presidency more than a Trump presidency.

They are constantly, constantly using hack "non-partisan" arms like the GAB (Government Accountability Board, recently partly reformed). Ahead or behind, they are always working full-throttle with their constant influx of willing interns from the university system and fixers from the Milwaukee and Chicago Unions.

Trump MIGHT win Wisconsin, but the left's game plan there is what it always has been.

The partial Voter ID reform is a BIG deal. The bad guys REALLY didn't want to sign an affadavit in lieu of good ID. Anything that might send people to jail (unless they are doing the sending) doesn't sing to them.

There is video from past elections documenting busloads from Chicago in Milwaukee and Madison. Video of cigs for votes, too.

The progs have spread out into the rural areas over the past 30 years and in many counties they hold real power advantages, for which they are despised by the rest of us. While ballot stuffing may not happen in the countryside, the progs have extensive networks of affinity groups and within each one is at least one change agent and one minder. Meetings are interrupted to give out the list of approved candidates. Peer pressure is strong and obvious. Even when change agents move away, they are encouraged to keep sending letters to the editor in order to shore up the talking point inculcation. Media is no longer locally owned. Editors and content are far left.

Most of the normal people involved in elections are very elderly. Old hippies have wormed their way in at the township and precinct level. There has been past fraud, but our experienced people caught it. That could change within two years.

Bright spot: this cycle, most progs out here went for Bernie and hate Hillary. But Trump scares the crap out of them. Lots of hand-wringing, lots of angst, some outright sweaty fear. They are programmed to fear opposition and while most are suspicious of FedGov, they’ll take whatever help they can.

It is what they do. Walker fought back and the hatred for him is at the hissing and spitting level, rivaling that for W or Reagan, both of whom are invoked regularly.

We’re mostly nice folks out here, but living with prog infiltration has made many people hate them with a passion. THAT will motivate Trump support.
