I’ve been praying for Mr. Trump for fifteen months—ever since I boarded the Trump Train after his epic encounter with Megyn Kelly in the first primary debate. The way he dealt with her insolence captured my attention and heart!!
His forte is closing deals and he proposed his contract with the voters in Gettysburg last Saturday. Now, I join you in keeping faith that he is about to do whatever is necessary to close thee most monumental deal ever to save America!!!
Thanks for that - interesting. I haven’t listened to Rush in quite some time (got tired of hearing all of his promos for Apple products and not supporting Trump). That said, I do peruse his transcripts on his site from time to time (have to do it in the a.m. as I don’t subscribe and don’t want to).
Speaking of imbibing, when we were at the ocean last summer, I bought something for our Carnes Asada with rice and beans night. It’s actually pretty good - Kirkland Signature Ready to Drink Golden Margarita Wine Cocktail. It’s made with wine stead of Tequila. I blended it ice. My BIL, friend and I all liked it. IIRC it was about $8.50 for a large bottle. When we’re at the ocean, we like to do easy meals, since we’re on the go all day. We got the ready made Carnes Asada from Costco, too. Just a little time on the grill - pretty good stuff IMHO.
I wonder if Trump knew this was going to happen yesterday. Remember he said: “Why don’t we just cancel the election and elect Trump for President” (paraphrased) That seemed kind of out of the blue.

Great post, Edie. His Gettysburg speech was very good. While I like all of his speeches, that was one of his best and he really laid out his policies on some things. I haven’t had a chance to see his speech in Charlotte yet but want to watch that as I’ve heard/read that it is very good, too
