I’m sometimes moved to marvel how good the world can sometimes get, with it being so riddled with sin, error, decay, and death as it is.
But perfect, it can never be, and it takes a load of worry off of me to realize that. I can just go to the Savior and ask for help in making my way through it, and the results are quite gratifying.
I sincerely hope that current events will soon prove to express a witness of the living Lord. I honestly believe Donald Trump’s situation is such a thing. He has more lives than the proverbial cat, and his position seems to develop from okay to good to better. There’s a Wind at his back. And I am quite anticipatory that we will find that this Wind will be at America’s back soon too. Nobody here deserved such a favor. America has done some hideously evil things. But I can see what I believe are unmistakable signs of a blessing shaping up. And it is quite characteristic of the way Jesus operates. Seeing a world saturated with sin, He did not rail at it with a curse, but warned it to accept His generous sacrifice so that it might not come to the curse it deserves in the end. And if the scenario I see shaping up takes place, many, many people will accept — it will be a wave of evangelism and revival. If we aren’t almost giddy with joy upon beholding this, then it’s our situation of being numb.
Oh well you are right about that...the book of Judges shows the pendulum swings of blessings and cursings upon Israel as she oscillated between righteousness and sin! When Yeshua rules out of the new Jerusalem...everything will change!
This is a place for the saved, those who willingly accepted salvation.
Yet people will be alive on the Earth at that time...so the witnessing to those to make them “acceptable” to enter in will no doubt continue then! The OT speaks of those who grab hold of the converted Hebrews in that day and ask..”teach us of the ways of the Lord...” A lot amazing things will be happening in that millennial “day”!
The Swedish culture will be history before the Swedes ever figure out what happened to them.
