BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Eric in Charlotte, North Carolina. Great to have you, sir. Welcome to the EIB Network. Hi.

CALLER: Oh, Rush, I got a triple barrel shotgun, don't know if I'm gonna have time 'cause of the cronyism, took a long time, but man, this is important. Thanks for what you do, man, God bless you. But I'm right now wanting to vent about people who are in your industry, the radio industry, who call themselves conservatives. I want to deal with conservatives in general, so-called conservatives and blacks about our current problem here with Hillary Clinton and them not supporting Trump, meaning Never Trumpers, so to speak.

I don't know how you do it, man. You bite your tongue a lot with some of your pals here. But we're shooting ourselves in the foot, throwing the baby out with the bathwater, too smart by half, by not seeing the very real and present danger, danger -- I use the word "danger" -- that Hillary Clinton is. She's a threat to their own livelihood and industry. If you are a conservative radio talk show radio host who is not supporting Trump, okay, that's fine, but you are not realizing Hillary is your enemy and you need to do everything in your power to stop her. She is a dangerous --

RUSH: Let me ask you something, Eric. I'm not sure I know specifically who you're talking about, but you do. Why do you think they're not opposing Hillary?

CALLER: Because they're too smart by half. They have their own egos and pride. They're looking at the person of Trump instead of what his agenda and what he's trying to do is. Meaning, that what they're doing is rejecting the acceptable in pursuit of the perfect and as a result they wind up by default getting the dangerous. These people -- and I can name names. You got time. I could name them. I'm not gonna name Glenn Beck. I'm not gonna name Erickson. No, I'm not going to do those people, but --

RUSH: (laughing)

CALLER: But I'm not gonna name them, Rush, no, sir. I'm not gonna name them. But I'm trying to tell you, these people, in not realizing the danger that this woman is to their very industry and livelihood, if she gets in office and her likes, they will be shut down, they will be stopped. When it comes to black people, if Trump just continues to pursue the game, saying, I am going to be going after the game --

RUSH: Eric, I love you, man, I do. I wish I had more time, but I'm really up against it here. But we get the drift. We get the drift.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Here's Robert in Southampton in New York. Great to have you on the program, and I appreciate your patience. Hey.

CALLER: Hey, thanks for taking my call, Rush. I appreciate it.

RUSH: Thank you.

CALLER: My question is, and this has been one of the greatest campaign seasons or the greatest one I've ever seen, because it's ripped the mask off so many of the so-called, you know, people on the right who call themselves conservatives, but my question is, why does Trump get zero support from the neoconservative wing of the party when he promotes things like, you know, keeping Syrian refugees out, building a giant wall, nationalistic trade policies, when these are the same exact policies pursued by Netanyahu and Israel, like then it's great.

But when Trump says these same things, right away he's a nativist, he's a xenophobe, or, if they're particularly salty, right away he's, you know, a Nazi or a white supremacist or some other garbage. Why the double standard, and now that the mask has been ripped off, do you see any future for these people in the Republican Party going forward?

RUSH: Well, that's a whole different question. Your first question -- why do you think it is? Let me name the names I think you're talk about, when you see neocons, you're talking about people like Bill Kristol and Charles Krauthammer, I don't know, John Podhoretz.

CALLER: Podhoretz.

RUSH: When you're talking about the neocons, you're talking about former liberals who became conservatives. Do you know that Krauthammer was a speechwriter for Mondale?

CALLER: Oh, yeah.

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: Oh, yeah.

RUSH: One of the traits of many neocons, not all, but they are former Democrats who became conservative, many of them during the Reagan years. But why do you think they are so repelled or disgusted by Trump?

CALLER: You know, I hate to describe motives to these people because I don't think that's fair to them. I'd rather have them explain why, you know, tribalism seems to be good for some and not for others, but I just don't think the facade of the double standards, I mean, you know, diversity is our strength. Well, wait a minute. If diversity is a strength, why is diversity only a one-way street?

I mean, there's a whole war on noticing a whole host of things where you are not allowed to notice these things. And if you do, if you do, oh, no, now you're really a deplorable. And I just don't think -- see, this is why you have Trump, because there's so many of these double standards now that we're not even supposed to talk about or even notice, let alone, you know, have a conversation about. The system just broke down and immigration was the straw that finally broke the camel's back, because, look, in ten years' time, Texas is probably gonna be a blue state if this keeps up. And then you can never win again, and we're all just supposed to take our dispossession, you know, lying down and --

RUSH: Okay, so what is your question, what are you asking me, then?

CALLER: Well, you know these people better than I do. Why do you think they push these double standards?

RUSH: Well, you wouldn't answer when I asked you what their motives were, you think it wasn't fair to comment on motives. Why is it fair for me to?

CALLER: Because you know them and you travel in these circles and you --

RUSH: I do not --

CALLER: -- spent a lifetime watching these people.

RUSH: I do not travel in those circles. I hate to tell you, but I am going to be among the people these people aim at when this is all over if Trump loses as the main reason why. I don't travel in these people's circles, and I never have. I've known this for quite a while, by the way.

Look, answering this is not hard, I mean, factually it's not hard. But how much value it has right now, I don't know. I just think some of it's class related. Some of it establishment versus outsider, is an aspect. That's a huge part of this. It is a huge part of it. The establishment's made up of people with a certain pedigree. It doesn't matter, you could be wrong about everything, but if you sound smart saying it and you have the right resume and you've taken the correct path in life, you're cool, you're okay.

It's more complicated than that, but it's I think largely related to -- here's what it boils down to. This is where people don't understand it. The real question is that people are asking, why do not the people you're talking about see the election of Hillary Clinton as a disaster? Why do they not see the country in a literal crisis for its very survival as founded? That's what you're really asking. Why do they not think that? Whereas most of the Republican base does think that.

I believe 90% of Rush callers are scripted. Here the caller is soo angry at never trumpers, but fails to name a single one other than Beck. How About put on some real angry callers? Rush has his own version of political correctness.

Note that Rush asks questions but doesn’t state his own strong opinions. He’s far from being the solution.

Globalists don’t want a person not beholden who will actually attempt to govern as such. I certainly hope Trump has taken into account that even his protection as President must be evaluated.

We are in very deep water.

I’m not talking about exact political bent or personal lives, but there is a certain parallel to JFK here. Throw in some Lincoln and Reagan and you’ll see a pattern.

The Netanyahu comparison is spot on. I’ve argued with some pseudo-conservative NeverTrump Jews on twitter, and they never have a good response.

Evidently, Israel is allowed to protect their culture, but we’re not. If I do get a response it’s that there are Jews of all different mixed ethnicities there and they have minorities, etc. Yeah? But they’re all Jewish and share the same values and culture and their immigration system is designed to keep it that way. That’s always where the conversation ends because they’ve got nothing else. Hypocrites.

He names Ericson as well. Who should he name? Megan McCain?

Rush is expressive and gifted, but he risks nothing. Ever.

Someone like Hannity is neither, but now risks everything.

Trump was not my first choice, or 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th.....

But Hillary Rotten Clinton is a raging FOREST FIRE threatening to burn down the entire country.

Trump is the guy holding the fire hose. If you aren't grabbing a bucket and helping then essentially you are standing there watching America going up in flames while you pick your nose. Would you throw rocks at the fireman putting out the blaze in your kitchen because he forget to wear deodorant and once had a bad date with your sister?

"Do you know that Krauthammer was a speechwriter for Mondale?"

so, the former rat has been pretending to be this great conservative mind...

this is probably their job security....pretending to be a "conservative" just so they get the right to sit in the single "conservative" chair on the tv shows...

most radio callers sound stupid...can't get to the point...spend half their time praising the radio guy, part of the time stammering, and then a wimpy little statement or question...

and I notice with Rush, the questions never get answered...
