I’d guess this means folks with some kind of special status to the Democrat party, not just garden variety sympathizers.
I’ll be cancelling my cable after this election, and maybe beforehand if Hume and WhatsHerName will be covering news on election night. There’s just no reason to pay someone to harass me in my own house every night, and I can catch Sean and a few others online.
