Why isn’t Merkel tarred and feathered yet - or worse??
Parents need to do everything to fire the principal.
Step 1. West Germany (WG), because 2 wars have reduced the available work force, needed more workers.
Step 2. Turkey had available excess workers.
Step 3. WG imported TEMPORARY workers with the explicit order of no citizenship, no families and limited stay.
Step 4. Turkish workers liked being in WG, but wanted more than was offered.
Step 5. As years went on, more rules relaxed as more workers were needed.
Step 6. First came more permanent residency, then families and then citizenship through native born.
Step 7. From Turkish to other immigrants to Syrian refugees AND economic immigrants into the united Germany.
Step 7+ ... Where does it stop? Never, unless you close the door!
