Megyn Kelly: The Last Straw
American Thinker ^ | 10-27-16 | Dov Fischer

Posted on 10/27/2016 7:16:01 AM PDT by afraidfortherepublic

The Megyn Kelly eight-minute interview  with Newt Gingrich was riveting.  For me, it also was the last straw.

Let the drive-by media attack Gingrich, but I thought it was his finest hour since he handled John King four years ago at that GOP primary debate, when King of CNN started attacking Newt by quoting Newt's bitterly vindictive ex-wife.

Our household has become quite sick of Kelly, much as I had gotten tired of Greta Van Susteren.  Don't miss Greta a bit.  I know that Fox News is not only "fair," but "balanced," and I comprehend that they ultimately have more influence by maintaining a broader viewership if they avoid being as one-sided as is MSNBC.  Nevertheless, I have been finding Kelly more and more strident and less tolerable.  It may be that, post-Ailes, she is playing out her Fox contract and jockeying for a move to CNN or elsewhere.  Indeed, that would not be all bad – the presence at CNN of people with any amount of conservatism whatsoever is so rare that Kelly would be a good Trojan Horse to unload at CNN.

Wow. Really negative comments at the WSJ article. Most want Fox to dump her. No surprise. She has become so nasty and shrill.

Credibility is absolutely everything in the news business.

Anyone in that ‘profession’ who recklessly, deliberately and repeatedly forfeits all credibility because they CANNOT resist forcing their own bias into everything... is in the wrong business A N D ain’t too smart!!

An issue I have with the article is that it includes Chris Stirewalt in the list of Fox conservatives. Stirewalt, in his new show with Dana Perino, has revealed himself to be a fervent “Anti-Trump Warrior”. He and his fellow RINO Perino never tire of spewing out anti-Trump snide comments. Watching that RINO-central new program one time was more than enough for me — I’ll never watch it again.

Is that a picture of Megyn’s conservative sister?

Credibility is absolutely everything in the news business.

If this were the case we would have a lot less of these lying a-holes pontificating every night. The truth cannot be expected when it is being regurgitated by the socialist educated know-it-alls.

FOX is puzzled by their ratings dropping as they allow this show to continue. They may as well have a new show called ‘Kelly/Maddow GBLT hour’ to attract more gblt/progressive viewers and finish their attempt at building a new msnbc affiliate. I stopped watching FOX a long time ago.

Agree for the most part. I had heard, but do not definitively know, that she and her hubby are scientologists. How folks philosophically travel from point a to point b on these sorts of matters colors my opinion on their reliability in other matters, for good or for ill.

What Kelly says is being repeated by women you would think would know better. They dismiss Juanita Broderick, Kathleen Willey, and Paula Jones without a thought.

I really think that there is a government mind control program - Kelly is doing her part as a media hack, and that paycheck makes it worth it to her. Ugggg. The reasoning power of a huge segment of our country seems to be nonexistent, and the power of suggestion from television and mass media seems to be how they determine what is truth.

There are no critical thinking skills - our public schools have accomplished that. How about that wikileaks email about the “unaware and compliant citizenry”?

I live in the bluest state in the country, and the evidence I have indicates that TV is less powerful than ever, that kids are a lot more savvy than ever, and that they are very aware they’ve been more or less permanently screwed.

They see their path to a good job and a good life as being more or less based on luck more than preparation. They are preparing in case they have a shot, but they’re expectation is they likely won’t even get a decent gig at McDonalds.

Lawyers should not be talk show hosts, or newscasters.

They talk too much, they’re prosecutorial with guests, and carry an air of moral superiority.

MeGYN seems to think that it’s her job to destroy anyone with whom she personally disagrees.

We don’t tune into the news for HER opinion, but to hear the guests ideas and comments on the news of the day. MeGYN lies in wait for a trigger word to set off her vindictive, personal, opinion about those she doesn’t like.

She can dish it out all day long, but she folds like a polyester wallet when comes back at her.

Trump sent her home for a week in mourning after the first primary debate. After conferring with her Magic 8-ball she crawled back to Trump Tower to make amends with Donald, trying to get her viewers, and sponsors back.

When Newt wouldn’t take the “sexual predator” bait, and told her what she really is, she noticeably fumed.

MeGYN is a fluke, sort of like Sandra Fluke, obsessed with her body parts and thinks we should all agree.

Great alternative: Watch One America News (OAN) Network - it streams for FREE until January, 2017 on the www.klowdtv.com BETA - also available elsewhere like Apple TV, Roku, etc.

OAN has winners like Liz Wheeler at 9pm EST/6pm PST that will pump you up and not depress you like Megyn Kelly. Liz Wheeler is just 26, but super sharp - gives viewers faith in America’s young people.

She is a worthless POS.

Pretty, but worthless.

And a full fledged member of Hillary’s election team.

FNC thinks PeRino is a “star” and brings in the ratings.
