One thing that is clear: they knew the money was wired from Belize.

But, what does election law say about foreign donations? If I'm a US citizen, can I make a donation from my foreign bank account?

If I can, what's the candidate/campaign's obligation to determine the source of the funds? If they confirm I'm a US citizen, is that all that is needed?

And, is it any different for these advocacy groups, who are supposed to be independent of the campaign?

A shorter version of my questions: sure, it's clearly questionable and/or unethical. But, was it a violation of any federal law?

Great job.

Too bad not one Hillary voter will change their mind.

Reminds me of when a kid sticks fingers in their ears, shut their eyes tight and scream: “YA...YA....YA....YA...ya....ya...ya..........

“...I am thinking they have the “wealthy donor from Atlanta” that wants to meet with Hillary on tape. Stay tuned.”

Now that would be interesting. It’s just too bad if they have it that it wasn’t released today, on her birthday...

And, I am thinking they have the “wealthy donor from Atlanta” that wants to meet with Hillary on tape.

Oh my gosh, you're right! I can't wait to see that one!

I love how they keep saying things like, "Don't repeat this" and "This is illegal but we're old school".

Crooked Hillary can't be ignored by the MSM forever.

Except for Megyn Kelly who is saying that the $20,000 was actually from Trump so he could prey on vulnerable women...project sexitas.

But...she is obsessed with sex. (That is such a great line!)

The money went to AUFC. I think they are a 501(c)4, which is a non-profit advocacy group, not a PAC.

They've admitted to coordinating with the campaign, but let's set aside that violation for the moment.

The question is: what's the legality of a foreign contribution to AUFC? And technically, is it a foreign contribution, or a contribution by a US citizen via a foreign account?

Yes, it stinks like a rotten apple. But, is it illegal?

Is she really? (What’s scary is I actually mean that question seriously. She’s gotten that ridiculous.)

http://www.fec.gov/pages/brochures/foreign.shtml

The ban on political contributions and expenditures by foreign nationals was first enacted in 1966 as part of the amendments to the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), an “internal security” statute. The goal of the FARA was to minimize foreign intervention in U.S. elections by establishing a series of limitations on foreign nationals. These included registration requirements for the agents of foreign principals and a general prohibition on political contributions by foreign nationals. In 1974, the prohibition was incorporated into the Federal Election Campaign Act (the FECA), [HTML] [PDF] giving the Federal Election Commission (FEC) jurisdiction over its enforcement and interpretation.

There is also a promise that Hillary herself is about to be one of the co-stars of this expose.

Happy birthday to herrrrrrrr!

I think the money going to belize makes it money from belize and renders it laundered no matter who claims to have sent it.

But, is it illegal?

If it wasn't, they would've kept the $20,000.

If Mitch McConnell & Paul Ryan weren’t such RINO’s, they’d call a presser announcing they are DEMANDING Comey investigate this blatant law breaking by the Clinton campaign to commit voter fraud and illegal foreign donations!

Dirty money. Campaign finance laws intentionally violated. There is plenty enough here to indict the perpetrators and investigate the big shots they were connected to. Who knew what and when? But first things first. DRAIN THE SWAMP.
