Not just at the polling station, but after the election. I should be able to verify that my vote was in fact registered to me in the way that I voted. Or is that too much to ask for the most technologically advanced nation in history?

where I vote here in Missouri we use a black marker to note our choices, then it gets scanned into a black box when we drop the paper into it. How do I know my vote isn’t being switched right there?

I’m told to trust the system. :D

You don't. One of the ways some of these scanners can be hacked it to preprogram some votes into the memory card that holds and transfers the count. Preprogram negative votes for the loser, and an equal number of positive votes for the winner so the card shows "zero votes" when inserted to and checked by the scanner.

We’ve got the same here in Wisco.
Our only weapon to counter that is, comparing the digital readout # when your ballot is scanned. We plan on being some of the last few people through the door on election night.
We will compare what the state election website shows for turnout at our polling location and our #. If it’s off by 5% or more. We start calling BS.

Please see #24. This is the way I’ve voted for years now. I just do not trust these voting machines.

The problem with that is that if you can unquestionably PROVE that your vote was counted a particular way, you could in theory sell your vote.

If you think the busing and organizing and enticements to vote in the inner city communities are bad now, imagine what would happen if they could trade in their straight ticket Democrat vote "receipt" for a gallon of wine or a carton of cigarettes on November 9th. How about a $50 bonus from your union hall when you bring in your straight Democrat ticket vote verification? The party that could afford the most bribe money would win every election from then on.

Votes are easily switched when scanners are involved. There’s a video out there (it did the rounds about 2 months ago) that shows exactly how the computers can be programmed to change the voting results. It’s done after testing to assure everything is on the up-and-up, and just before voting begins simply by the bad guy inserting the “virus” in the machine via flash drive.

No muss. No fuss. Election rigged and possibly stolen.

That's the same way up here in upstate NY, in my town. I don't know how my vote is registered. Also, it doesn't matter how that sheet is fed into the machine. If I place it upside down and backwards, they say that my vote is registered. Yes, ok, but is it registered the way that I voted?

The only thing that machine tells me is how many voted before me. WOW!! LOL

That is the way we do it in OUR part of Texas as well.

Amarillo, home of the illegals and meat packing industry lean toward rigging it I guess
