Planning for the cuts is still fluid and the number could change, they added. The people asked not to be identified talking about private company plans.

Because we really need a website for people to fuel their own narcissism. We need to know what they do every second of their lives, like they just ate a cookie and they really dig yoga pants.

Probably the only thing keeping Twitter going is this political season

How much net profit has Twitter made in the last five years?

Hard for me to conceive of why they would need an entire building full of people to run a website. FR is run by just Jim and his brother with some volunteer moderators.

I'm just enjoying the Elizabeth Warren Tweets. Wonder how that fake Indian thing is going for her these days?

Yup. Some people just can’t conceive of having a thought without posting it. Hopefully such sites will go the way of the Pet Rock ASAP.

I’m with you. I don’t even know the first thing about it. . .nor do I care.

Those that are getting laid off more than likely were tweeting or twittering anti-Trump sentiments.

They could turn around by purging their “Abuse” and “Truth & Safety” departments, which have caused the most damage. Then follow up by firing other personnel aiding and abetting them.

Make sure that they’re fired for a legally defensible reason, as the SJWs will try to sue. The key at this stage is to remove what stands in the way of profitability.

Finally, move the company to Texas to inoculate against a reinfection.

Not perfect, but necessary if they want to profit.

Their trust and safety council is banning conservatives for conservative opinions, some of whom are their biggest personalities and many of the mid-level. When your audience is declining, there is less potential cash flow for the platform.

Twitter is the number one place where Trump, OKeefe and Wikileaks are getting their message out to the people past the media filter. I am not surprised they want to curtail it. Any conservative that doesn’t want to keep Twitter on is whistling past the graveyard.
